“Awesome local tortillas & chips. Their house salsas and fresh packed foods are delicious. Really nice produce selection for a small Mexican market. Fresh baked bread at the conjoined bakery.”

“The clerk was very helpful. She took me I needed to go and told me which one was the best. She answered all my questions and told me how to use the product since the instructions were in another language.”

“My favorite place for delicious, fresh donuts. Whoever was in charge of filling the custard, forgot about filling them today. Haha! There was maybe a teaspoonful of custard in one side and they had a very thick layer of chocolate frosting. Too much chocolate and not enough custard! Still a great place to shop.”

“Love the meat department and their specialty cheeses in the deli. Great quality for great value. I do my other grocery shopping here just for the meats and cheese.”

“Went to the cochina and they were wonderful! Super sweet! And the lady who was cooking took some time to teach me a few words in Spanish help me with pronunciation. I'm Filipino and Irish, but very Mexican passing. Usually I get looked down on for not speaking any Spanish because of how I look. (Ive never been talented enough to pick up other languages verbally. I chose sign language in college because of this.) They didn't make me feel that way at all. The cashier for the grocery did give me a little bit of look when I responded in English, but she was nice and laughing after the guy behind me and I talked about my large tortiose and how I needed to go on the same diet as him. LoL

Overall the prices of the produce is cheaper than Smith's and slightly cheaper than Ocean Mart in Roy. Sadly, more expensive than all of the Hispanic markets I'm used to in Cali... so that hurt my heart to see considering people swear Utah is cheaper. SLC markets are hit or miss on which is cheaper. But the cost of gas doesn't overcome the price difference. My main gripes would be the flavors of some of the items in the cocina and the tamales. A few things very much taste like it's flavored for the stereotypical White tastebuds instead of being authentic.”
