“Riverton Hardware is the best hardware store on the south end of Salt Lake Valley. If you're like me, you make at least one trip to a hardware store a week... and compared to Lowes, Homedepot, or True Value stores nearby, I have success 90% of the time I go RH. What does that mean? That means fewer trips to fix stuff.
Not only that, but everyone there is helpful. They will help you find the right nut or bolt, they will help you make a duplicate key, and returns are super easy.
Sadly, I just moved to Logan where I have to start all over and find a new hardware store. I sure miss Riverton Hardware. They are the best!”

“This place is has everything and if they don't they can probably set you up with a great alternative. Went in for a bunch of Titen bolts. They only had a little over half of what I needed but got me an alternate size that would work, but only charged me for what I originally needed. This place is busy, because its filled with people trying to get work done. Its like a mini home depot but everyone knows everything. Parking is a little funky up front, but just park on the side. Go in with a plan and know what you want, it makes it easier on everyone. Service rep even brought my bolts out to my car to load up. Great place for builders and home owners alike.”
“Generally I have had no problems with Ace. I have found them friendly and helpful. Today I needed to buy new screening for a torn window screen. The girl who helped us got the measurements for the screen and quoted a price of $16. which seemed reasonable and then she told us for $3 more dollars they could fix it for us and get it done that day. That sounded even more reasonable so we told her we’d run home and get the screen and bring it back for them.
When we came back, we gave her the screen and she was having trouble ringing it up on the register so she called her manager, Jenny, over to help.
Jenny took our information and the torn screen and disappeared into the back for about 10 minutes. When she came back she said the price would be $31.12 and it would take 1-2 weeks to finish. I was surprised by the change and when I asked Jenny about it, she said, “Tom is busy. That’s when he can get to it”
Anyway, I think I’m going back to get my screen and just do it myself. I still like Ace, and usually, they are very helpful and friendly, but this was not one of those times.”
“Love the products, employees are typically readily available to help. Returns are easy (you just want to check when purchasing if there is a restock fee for larger items) and they have warranties thay make purchasing small tools very convenient. Would recommend!”
“Only drawback is you have to bring in coupons every time, for 20% off. Also my friends dad put a nail through his knee with one of their nailguns so be careful. Other tools... Seen OK. Get the job done. At half the cost of home depot”

“The staff here is amazing!! I came in trying to fix my broken tub spout. Unfortunately the brand I had required a wider diameter internally and I had a very difficult time finding the correct spout. They helped me research it until the correct part/model was found. This saved me so much time and money!! I was able to order the correct part, and it took less than 5 minutes to install.

“I visited Home Depot today for just a couple of items and needed those wood cut down to size. Jerry gladly helped me get the items I needed cut. He did it like I was his own mom. “Had exactly what I needed, but the miscellaneous parts aisle had no pricing on the bins, was a bit confusing, the cashier couldn't look up prices. Seems like this could be better, but the store was clean, the guy who helped me navigated me being on an phone call for an important meeting, helped me find the parts I needed and over all was a great experience. A bit more signage to help reduce confusion and this would be a 5.”
