“This organization has been in my family since it started, Alton Thacker is one of the kindest people I’ve ever known, like a second grandpa after my own passed way. Tiny Tim’s has brought joy and happiness throughout the globe, and will continue to do so until its very last days, which will be a very long time from now. ❤
The attached image shows items with high sentimental value. A poster I got from a car show that Tiny Tim’s hosted, a car I made on my 9th birthday when I brought a group of my friends to the factory for my birthday party, a “pocket car” made by one of the volunteers (shoutout Robert!) one of the oldest cars Tiny Tim’s made given to me by my grandpa (Nile Thacker), a truck given to me by my uncle, and an X-Wing I bought at one of their auctions, plus a colored car and another normal car I keep around in case I find an opportunity to give to someone. I keep these as a reminder to always show kindness, but I also continue to play with these toys today. ❤”

“it's a vibrant and essential center for the urban native community. What makes this center so special is its deep and authentic commitment to providing programs and events that are profoundly culturally relevant. This isn't just a place that offers services; it's a place that actively celebrates and preserves Indigenous cultures in everything it does.”

“This is such a wonderful place and they do important work in caring for abused and abandoned farm animals. We used to visit them very often when they were still at Gardner Village. Currently the farm is pretty much taken care of by the owner. This is such a hard work as this place has a ton of animals. The owner is very friendly and caring and he has a great heart for those animals. We learned more about cows, sheep, and horses. They may be moving soon and we hope the owner finds a good place. We will visit again!”

“My kids have been taking classes here for years, after school during the school year and camps in the summer. They always enjoy themselves and come home with such imaginative pieces of art. They like the classes and teachers so much they've taken a number of them multiple times.”

“I can't remember who I've worked with here! But they were all SO VERY NICE. I am an oversupplier, I was a donor 2023-2024. I donated 480oz to them. They made it super easy too! I had a whole freezer full with my baby only eating 2 oz. I donated to McKay Dee Hospital and did my blood work there too! I was always treated with respect. And once I was done being a donor THEY SENT ME AN AWARD IT WAS SO COOL.”

“Update: I did speak with someone from the donation department and they were very kind and told me that they except most anything we want to bring because that is how they stay on business and that man was wrong. So I’ll change my rating from a one star for them but just beware that some people at the bins may not know and may act very rude.Horrible service at the bins. The man was accusing me of bringing trash because I had a small chip in a bowl. However the rest of the set was fine. He said I could ring a small lamp and small Christmas decor. He was yelling at me telling me he is sick of people bringing there trash. He took one of the knives from the knife set that was a complete set but wasn’t brand new and said this isn’t new we can’t take this and he broke the knife. I won’t be donating to them again”

“Me and my son have been apart or the sharing place since September of last year and we love it. It has helped us both so much with the death of our beloved father and significant other. They do great activities for the kids and also have helped me use concrete language. I had a hard time with the rules about saying “passed away” or “lost” however it has def helped me and my son understanding the reason behind it. I am just so grateful for this place.”

“St John’s CCDC is the best. The teachers are so caring and make my son feel right at home. He’s always happy, learning new things, and excited to go each day. It’s hard as a mom not to be there, but I know he’s in such good hands. His daycare truly feels like his home away from home, and it gives me so much peace of mind.”

“I can’t tell you how thankful I am that I decided to reach out to the Utah Parent Center. This is an amazing organization and I truly feel this was the first big step I needed to make in getting my little sister the proper care and attention she needs. I called them Dec 1 and whoever I spoke to: you are an angel. Thank you for your kindness, bless you.

To the person reading this review doing research for your loved one, please reach out to them, you’ll be glad you did. I promise there’s a light at the end of the tunnel!”

“I took my 5yo daughter here for some ultrasound and X-ray imaging needs that she had and I’m incredibly impressed with the way they care for the kids here. They had a show on for her during the ultrasound to keep her distracted and the ultrasonographer was so sweet and caring for my daughter. After that they had to do some more invasive X-ray procedures, but they had a child life specialist there with toys and knowledge of the procedure to help distract my daughter and help her understand what they would be doing that really helped my daughter feel more comfortable. They truly care about children here and all the doctors do a fantastic job at helping children feel more comfortable (as much as is possible). Very impressed with all of them and grateful for their care and professionalism!”
