“I love working for Eye Care 4 Kids it’s easy to balance with my personal life. When you have the ability to unplug from work, you get a chance to recharge and unwind. Professionals who are always checking their email or answering phone calls on their personal time tend to experience burnout. When you have the chance to spend time with family and friends and pursue hobbies, you’ll feel ready to face a new workday.“If you love your work, if you enjoy it, you're already a success.” “You have to love what you do, to give your best.” “If you don't do what you love, you will never love what you do.”

“I honestly don't know what I would have done without the help and support of Ruff Haven. About 3 yrs ago My kids and I had lost nearly everything. Our home, furniture, my job, the last thing we wanted to do was get rid of our cats. These guys took them in for 3 months. Got them up today on shots and even got our young cat spayed. The staff here are amazing and very personable. They actually care and understand that animals are not just animals or pets. They are part of the family.Thank you so much Ruff Haven!”

“It is fun to go see the animals. The penguins are nesting. Being retired, going multiple times a week, we see the different animals that you would not see in a single visit.Watching the kids excitement when they see the different animals is fun. Then there are the quiet days that allow you to spend more time watching the animals.”

“I don't know why I should write a 5 star review. It will only invite more people to shop here and why would I want that? This is the best thrift store I've ever shopped in except for maybe one in San Francisco that was on the top floor of an old church. Assistance League is super clean and the merchandise is very nice. The best part is the volunteers who work there. They are all very friendly and fun to talk with. Good luck and happy hunting.”

“The UPC has well trained people waiting to assist families in navigating school policies for IEP and 504 meetings, transition options, and more. They offer classes monthly on disability related classes that you can attend online or in person. Just get on the mailing list to get the links. Call them to find out who the consultant for your geographic location is. They work with districts, charter and any school. I've worked with two consultants in meetings and have loved both. I've had calls with others when mine were on vacation and I've never been disappointed with their knowledge and skill level.”

“The neighborhood seems a little sketchy and this Desert Industries has a gated parking lot. It is further back from the road so you have to watch more carefully to find it. They did have two rows of toys which was what we were looking for so that was great.”

“Update: I did speak with someone from the donation department and they were very kind and told me that they except most anything we want to bring because that is how they stay on business and that man was wrong. So I’ll change my rating from a one star for them but just beware that some people at the bins may not know and may act very rude.Horrible service at the bins. The man was accusing me of bringing trash because I had a small chip in a bowl. However the rest of the set was fine. He said I could ring a small lamp and small Christmas decor. He was yelling at me telling me he is sick of people bringing there trash. He took one of the knives from the knife set that was a complete set but wasn’t brand new and said this isn’t new we can’t take this and he broke the knife. I won’t be donating to them again”

“I have been there for about 5 in a half years they treat you like family I love the ymca especially mine (CFR) I love it there they feed you they have games for lil kids and big kids even teenagers they are amazing there and the staff at the ymca are like your older sister/brother or your ymca mom or dad they take care of you so well and if any parents reading this you should really put your kid at the ymca because it is amazing and awesome it is like my other home it is just amazing I love the ymca ❤️ Even when the pandemic was big they still treat us like 6 feet and they also teach us things like why parents can’t spend money on toys or candy and what loans are or if someone doesn’t know how to play they will teach them if we need help with something they will be there and the YMCA is for after School program, before school program, preschool, and summer camp and there is this thing call LIT(leader in training) and it is for older kids for 4th graders and up I think but it is still really fun I would recommended it to everyone that I know and even my cousins go there and they love it too THE YMCA IS AMAZING I LOVE THE YMCA❤️❤️❤️”

“I took my 5yo daughter here for some ultrasound and X-ray imaging needs that she had and I’m incredibly impressed with the way they care for the kids here. They had a show on for her during the ultrasound to keep her distracted and the ultrasonographer was so sweet and caring for my daughter. After that they had to do some more invasive X-ray procedures, but they had a child life specialist there with toys and knowledge of the procedure to help distract my daughter and help her understand what they would be doing that really helped my daughter feel more comfortable. They truly care about children here and all the doctors do a fantastic job at helping children feel more comfortable (as much as is possible). Very impressed with all of them and grateful for their care and professionalism!”
