“For decades, Interwest Electronics has been the best place in the Metro Salt Lake area to go for audio repairs. They are very knowledgeable and proficient in their craft. Their costs are not low, but you get good value for your money. But, one caveat, their work is so sought after, it's nearly impossible to get a spot on their list for repairs, for which the wait is almost a year long. But persistence can be key, and maybe, if your project is interesting enough, you just might get a spot on their schedule. If you do it will be worth the wait.”

“I used to have the SMT-3 laptop and I absolutely loved it! After a few years, as the hardware got older and older, I traded it in towards a new SMT-7 laptop. I figured why not. It's a more advanced and powerful PC, right? Not really. So far, the experience has been disappointing. The laptop keeps freezing over and over again, leading me to take it back into the store to get it fixed.UPDATE #1: Despite the recent experience with the SMT-7, the guys at PC laptops have my back and are doing everything they can to make it right, which I highly appreciate. There might’ve been a one in a million defect in the hardware - something beyond their control - but they’ve got a new laptop being prepared at no extra charge. I think these guys definitely deserve a 5-star review after all that is said and done. Until then, I’ll keep the review updated based on the status of the laptop I paid for. This review did start as a 3 stars until PC laptops reached out to me in order to provide further assistance. They didn’t leave me out in the cold like many other companies do.
