He asked him who’s the greatest of all time Michael Jordan or LeBron James? We had a great conversation and I just thought he did a great job talking to everyone who came in the store. “Smaller than it used to be with fewer choices. Before they had 2998 shoes that I would never buy, and 2 that I love. Now, it's only about 1498 shoes that I would never buy, and 1 that I love, and 1 that I just don't like as much. It's not a diss on Famous Footwear. If I ever open my store called "Forever 39" then there will only be 3 shoe choices for men. Not 3 categories... 3 actually different kinds of shoes, and that's it. Formal, sporty, and regular-around-the-house tennis shoes. Easy peasy. But! If you want more selection than that from a store that actually exists already, Famous Footwear is the place for you. They only nag you one time per visit about whether you need help.”
