“Had an emergency gear failure while in town to snowboard. The sole on my - like new - boots was peeling apart. Called a few other shops who weren’t very helpful said they could only sell me new boots. The team at Cottonwood Board Shop & Cyclery picked up the phone ready to help right away. They had my boots glued together like new within a few hours so I could get back on the mountain the next morning. Pricing was extremely reasonable and saved me from wasting a $200 lift ticket! “Outstanding experience with Contender Bicycles. I purchased an X-Labs GT8 gravel bike and Peter was my contact throughout the process. He quickly reached out to answer any questions and offered to setup the tires tubeless before shipping. The shipping was absolutely perfect with every part wrapped with packaging material. Shipping to San Francisco was only three days and setup was about 30 minutes with just the front wheel, bars, and seat post removed. The bike itself was perfect and I love it. “Absolutely incredible service! My bike arrived quickly, was packaged extremely well, and was easy to finish assembling. Everything worked perfectly except for one component that wasn't functioning properly.
I contacted their customer service team, and they responded immediately. They quickly started the warranty process and shipped a replacement part without any hassle. They have taken care of everything from start to finish.
What impressed me most was receiving a personal phone call from a real person who took the time to explain exactly how they were going to resolve the issue. That level of customer service is rare these days.
