“I am absolutely ecstatic about the new Owners and what they’ve done (and continue to do) at the store. Most importantly, they extended their hours and days, so I can stop in after work at 6:30pm, even at 7:30pm, plus they’re now open on Sunday !!!
This husband and wife team aim to please! They special order anything you want, which I greatly appreciate!!
They have a large, impressive selection of vape products, which I love! Unfortunately, I vape. I used to have to drive to Burlington or stock up on supplies when in NC, then fly home with them. That was a pain in the neck!!(the tsa agents got sick of it, too.)
Now, I drive 750ft to our local, neighborhood store and everything I need is right there!
I’m so thankful the new owners also kept the deli staff,!! The woman that runs the deli (and her grandson) do such a great job!! Everything is made from scratch and the subs are delicious!!
You won’t be disappointed at this store!! I can assure you of that. If you’re a wine or beer drinker, they have a very large selection!!
We’re so happy to have them!! Welcome to the neighborhood!!!!thank you both for being so kind, respectful , and appreciative of your customers. We appreciate you and appreciate all you do!!!!”
“Don't let the small stature of the building fool you! The owners are amazing and nice, and so are the staff! I love the niche selections of snacks and a good selection of beverages for the size. Have you tried their pizza? My favorite so far is bacon and pepperoni. Support local y'all!! I've never had anything bad here, try it out!”
“Kind staff, some customers maybe be senile as a woman who kept asking me if I was working there because I was matching shirts with a sibling. (The store colors are red, we wore blue!)”

“Great little old fashion country store. Beer, snacks, coffee (only in the morning) and a lot of other stuff too! It’s the town center for Websterville, and Bev, the proprietor, is inspiring. She’s been running the store for longer than most of you have been alive and still has a sparkle in her eye and a ready smile. Also, you can hike and snowmobile from the back, and it’s walking distance from the disc golf course, all in the Barre Town Forest.”
“(Translated by Google) Beautiful quality gasoline, excellent prices by the gallon. Honest and nice owner.(Original)Bellissima benzina di qualità, prezzi eccellenti al gallone. Proprietario onesto e simpatico.”
“A neighborhood grocer where you can find local meat, affordable deli selections, produce and an amazingly surprising wine selection.
I wanted to add to my review:
Today I witnessed an amazing act of kindness at The Quality Market. One of the employees was helping an elderly blind man by applying a dressing to his injured hand. He then helped him pick out his qroceries. In a world where you might think that everyone is out for themselves, this proves that there is still compassion and respect for each other in our little spot in the world.”
“I want to say how impressed I am with the Dollar General Store on RT. 302 in East Barre, VT. The staff is always friendly and helpful but I am most impressed by how clean and neat the store always is. This is in stark contrast to the other Dollar General Stores near me. The store is usually very well stocked as well.”
“I think it's a great store. Staff are always helpful whether in store in person or on the phone. As well store is always clean , and we all know that makes a difference.
Tyvm to all the staff at 74 South Main Street , Barre Vermont.”
“I had 0700 appointment. Unloading started immediately. Out by 0815. Losts of carves coming here. Take wide turns. Receiving starts 0530 to 1300. Easy backing in and the guy in receiving was Kool. I slept on the dock without any interruption.”

“Overall the best supermarket in the area. Fresh vegetables and good selection. Meat dept is also nice. The fish department has some good choices. Haddock and Cod cooked and refrigerated are also tasty. Avoid the “honey fried shrimp” ; way too much sugar and batter.
Employees are friendly and checking out is faster than Shaws. There’s room for improvement for sure. The COOP still has the best deli. But the Chopper is the best overall.”
“AR Market is such a positive for the Barre community, from the bright blue tables and chairs on the sidewalk and potted herbs outside, to the friendly and knowledgeable staff inside. You can pick up the one missing ingredient for dinner, or build an entire meal. We have utilized their charcuterie boards for multiple events, and each has been expertly crafted. AR Market also carries our members' favorite coffee creamers and popcorn and ice cream for movie nights.”
