“My husband and I are visiting Seymour Lake from NJ and I have to admit that this place has the best sandwiches. The people are extremely friendly and the food is delish. We definitely recommend stopping by for a really good meal.”

“I do most of my grocery shopping at shaws. And I have got to say the Derby. One has always been very clean. No one that I have run into has been anything less than pleasant. It's just a really nice experience whenever I go or when I do the grocery to go. Recently I did have a complaint (it was about a corporate policy, not local) and reached out to corporate around 9am and they got back to me by 430pm that same day with a reasonable resolution. Once again, even though I was complaining about something, everyone was really nice and pleasant to deal with.”
“I like that I never have any issues with items ringing in at the right price. I like their product mark downs and the frozen/dairy selection is good. The store is always clean and I often use the bottle return. If machine is full, they promptly find an associate to empty and make it working again. I like the deals at Price Chopper. I often only shop the deals, as groceries have gotten so expensive.
The only downfall was the cashier. She was a middle-aged woman, very chatty and says too much personal information for my liking. She also scrutinized my purchases. Don't remember her name, but she would be a reason I choose to go to Shaws instead.”
“Wow! I found food items here that I couldn't locate in other food stores. I don't live in the community, but I see a constant stream of customers, even when just driving by. It's centrally located within downtown Newport. They always have enough cash registers available. Staff mill about to answer customer
questions and are very helpful. It's clean and organized with lots of fresh fruits and veggies. It's not so large that one is all tired out from shopping there. Check it out!”
“We had delicious soups, quinoa chili, regular chili. Muffins fresh, kale salad. Coffee was basic. Personnel friendly and place clean. Highly recommend for healthy options.”

“We stopped in for lunch items before a day at the lake. The man working the deli counter was absolutely amazing and it was honestly the best customer service I've experienced in quite some time. I wish I got his name. He was running around helping in all areas at the store ( I think he deserves some well earned paid vacation 😉). We will definitely be going back there even though it's a bit further when we are at camp. Definitely worth the excellent customer experience and the sandwiches we had for lunch at the beach were awesome!”
