“Definitely not a one stop shop for groceries but so perfect for bulk grains, spices, and can count on them for local artisanal items and unique international flavors”
“This place is Warm & Inviting while also being spacious; the Food is Absolutely Delicious..... my Turkey Burger & Fries i had there last Friday was soooo yummy. Stop in & try anything; I'm sure you will be satisfied!”

“Road trip to VT. stumbled upon an Aldi just for a snack for the ride back. Ya'll they have wine. I'm not a drinker but I purchased 2 bottles just because of the flavor peach
& lemonade. Ok ok i tried the lemonade why is half the bottle gone ?. Not bad for 3.99”
“Order a 16” pizza with 3 toppings, full taste of homemade, handmade and different than any other pizza I ever have, it probably not the best but it is so unique.Store has lots different items and able to fill all my needs for the day , water, soft drink , beer , snacks, ice cream and free popcorn!!The jug at the counter is very nice, I guess he is the owner, However I didn’t verify. Place is organized and clean, like this real local experience so much!!”
“It's a co-op now. Caters more toward the out of town visitor looking for a fine bottle of wine or block of cheese. Has plenty of ice during this 90+ degree week.”
“I take alot of pride in being able to post a good review because I have to post SO MANY bad ones. The new owner of this business is a very respectful man that is just trying to make a small business flourish in today's economy. I was unloaded and on my way as quickly as possible and offered a 20% discount in his store. This man deserves the best reviews possible. Good luck with your business Mr. White. I hope you do well.”
“This is the fastest place to get breakfast on the access road!It is also delicious! The egg-sandwiches are filling with two eggs, cheddar cheese, your choice of meat all on their homemade English muffin!Add a hash brown and you won't have to stop to eat until it's time to Apre!”
“Unexpected finds in what I thought was just a convenience store. There were meats, produce, prepared foods, and your typical convenience store stuff (gas included) which was a nice surprise as I needed something for dinner, so I picked up some chicken breast and brought it home. The prices weren’t bad either.”
“I have been working for Hannaford Supermarket in Rutland VT for a little over two years. I'm not able to say anything bad about the store because the leadership takes everything seriously, in every area. We are constantly having meetings and watching films. In trying to make our customers shopping experience discussing product control and how to interact with our customers, bringing something to thier day. Hannaford is a pleasant place to work and shop because everyone gets along and have high spirits. I enjoy my job and looking forward to our customers satisfaction.”

“I love Hannaford. They always have a great selection of items and their produce is always really fresh. There is a local section as well that supports local farms which I appreciate. The staff are really nice as well.”
“This is Dollar General on South Main St. in Rutland, VT. All of their garbage, cardboard, plastic etc is all getting littered throughout my moms backyard. I love shopping at this store I just don’t approve of what is going on with their garbage situation. Maybe we can find some kind of plan to clean this up and keep it cleaned up in the future!”
“Employee "ETHAN" Was very accommodating an inviting coming an going at Walmart today. You don't see too many people that are like that anymore. My mom dropped a peanut butter in self check out he was walking by picked it up an gave it back to her. Then when we left he was out in the parking lot picking up carts an takes our cart. Was very pleased with how personable he was.”
“After I couldn't find what I wanted at the Walmart, I came here because I spotted it across the parking lot. The shopping center is in the Rutland Plaza - it is not in downtown Rutland. Big supermarket with lots of options, long aisles and tons of food. Prices looked to be decent. I got some sliced ham, some sliced cheese, a half-dozen hard boiled eggs and was surprised to see that they had a loaf of keto bread. Woot, woot! [Review 18472 overall - 71 in Vermont - 1994 of 2022.]”
“My father lost his wallet right before closing and got home freaking out so I called and hit option 2 the person who answered had of gone put and looked after I told him where he went and had to have gone out and looked for it after hours....they could have left it there. We are 100% satisfied with the night crew who went above and beyond. The men we spoke to were Donny and Dave and the younger gentleman who saw me at the door!!! You have a great night crew that is willing to help people even after closing!!! Thank you so much!!!”

“The deli meats (Boar's Head) are the best in the city along with fast, friendly service from Lisa, Marsha, and Joann. And the oven roasted chickens and salt and vinegar wings are better than the other supermarkets. Many workers there have come from Price Chopper so obviously they are happier working there and it shows in their attitude (Suzie, Sarah).”
“Was one of my most favorite experiences. -- First off, the store has a unique layout for a Wal-Mart, which is cool. Guy out front was having a heat stroke at 7am and the paramedics came. When I was walking to the clearance aisle to see what could be had, a lady was checking herself out in the mirror and yelled at me, "Maybe if I lose some weight someone will bang me!" Then I got mistaken for an employee in one of the aisles by a fellow customer, who said, "oh excuse me, can you tell me where the chicken soup is?" -- That is 30min I may never forget. Only in Rutland.”
“Had a rough go for a while there when it was closed all the time at random hours of the day, but from what I understand it was due to short staff? Either way, it's been much better lately hours wise. Beyond that, stores clean, shelves are usually well stocked, and I personally think they have more of a selection than most the dollar stores in Rutland. Makes grocery shopping so much easier when you don't have to drive into scumtown lol.”
“My husband and I recently visited Killington and were relieved to find this gem of a store. We had meatball sandwiches for lunch...delicious! Then, we enjoyed the pizza for dinner...also wonderful! The woman in the deli was so patient and kind. On Christmas Day, she made our day! Totally recommend this place. Great place to pick up groceries, beer, and local syrup.”
“Super friendly staff, Excellent in store made sandwiches! If you are in Rutland looking for a place to eat, I would highly recommend Olivia’s. The the sandwich in picture is a Ruben!”
“It's busy for a reason. I really enjoyed my classic Italian sandwich. Quality ingredients and so tasty. The store has a little bit of everything from quick snacks to groceries. The meat selection looked great and may be worth my time to drive back for. Staff were great and friendly with everyone.”
