“This very convenient location has a number of items I purchase regularly. It is pretty cluttered and on delivery day, some aisles are almost impassable. And they run out of Mentos awfully fast. Nice friendly staff will actually take you to an item.”

“We had a farm tour with Dave and it was such a special experience on their land. The tour was scheduled for an hour but we ended up staying for two talking and learning about dairy operations and cheesemaking at the farm. You could see that he was very passionate about this place and offered valuable insights into the art behind cheesemaking. The highlight was the cheese tasting at the end with the group trying all the products they sell inside. The drive up to the farm was very scenic too with fall colours popping all over the area.”

“Very cute place with all the local wares and grocery items. Definitely want to come here every time I shop, the imported stuff is really expensive but I still like all the local stuff, that stuff didn’t seem too much to me.”

“The Country Store has become a regular stop for us on our trips to Roxbury. We like the welcoming feeling we get as soon as entering, and shopping for Roxbury and Vermont sweatshirts and t-shirts. Plus getting some snack food for the ride home!”

“Best fruits and vegetables, so fresh and a great selection! They have the basics for everything and then some more. One stop shopping, quick lunch, snacks - salty and sweet, weekly grocery shopping. Wonderful bulk selection, frozen foods, fresh foods, packaged too. Large selection of local producers. My daughter loves the freshly baked salmon with chili sauce and sesame noodles and it is a weekly purchase. My husband's favorite is Red Hen's Seeded Baguette. I always pick up a Red Door Bakery Date Bar for a grocery shopping job well done!”

“This Dollar General of all the 4 stores in Barre/Berlin is the best. This store is immaculate unlike the others which are safely a absolutely horrible mess (where is the District Manager?)”

“Good. Always clean and neat. If I were to give any criticism, it would be to have their fried chicken more available after work hours. There has been a few times I have gone in after work (4pm) for something quick and easy, and it has been sold out.”

“This Shaws in VT was cute and had everything (other than a working restrooms) that my party needed. It was a neat packed smallish version of the larger Shaws in other major NE cities.”

“The lobsters here are some of the best I’ve ever bought to cook - including on the Maine coast. They arrive daily and the price is also very good. My new go-to place to buy them”

“This small Walmart offers a wide variety of products at lower prices compared to nearby grocery stores. The store is clean and well-organized, making it a convenient place to shop. You can often find great deals and discounts. The produce section is particularly impressive, featuring a wide selection of fruits and vegetables that you may not find in other stores in Central Vermont, especially Hispanic ingredients. What is not impressive is the toys for children, I wish they have more variety.”
