“Small country store, very cozy! Prices are a little high, but a good selection. Gas pumps sometimes don't work so don't let it be a last stop option on your way to the ski resorts. Very nice people behind the counter!”

“What a great place! Ever since the new owners took over I've become a huge fan. The food is great - a serious surprise, and the people are friendly. I enjoy coming here whenever I'm in the area and always walk out with something wonderful from their gift area. Really interesting choices. There's a nice energy here.”

“I live in western NY and travel for business to NE region regularly. I always stop at Henry's when traveling home if I'm in the area. The meat selection is great Vermont beef.. The staff is friendly. A wide selection of cheeses and meats. It's a small shop and usually has a small line for lunch subs and sandwiches for takeout. It's a small deli so don't expect a place to eat inside. Lot's of good food to select from.”

“They played Mitski, they have cool salsa, and they have some banging pre packaged food. Like look at that squash. Seriously scrumptious. What more could one want?”

“The workers there are always nice the store is clean and organized (unless they've just gotten a delivery than it might be a little crowded) and they have a good selection of food&drinks.”

“Big Y has come a long way over the years, and I have to give them a lot of credit. In certain areas, they really knock it out of the park. They make a strong effort to have as many local products as possible, for example, and I like that I'll often find unique things to buy here. They also have a really great food service department and their made to order subs are excellent and well-priced.That said, the store is smaller than the other grocery store in town, so I find often that the selection of some products suffers. Pricing does tend to be a little higher (on average) than the competition as well - but not dramatically so. As a result, rather than being my primary store I find that I stop at Big Y more for smaller trips or for the unique products I can't get elsewhere.”

“A great store to find all your food items. Great selection of coffee and ready made sandwiches. The staff were excellent. We will be revisiting this store the next time we're in North Adams.”

“Besides the fact that it's a miniature Walmart, with nothing that cost a dollar, great spot to pick up some Doritos of any flavor or an endless supply of knock off cereal. Solid candy selection, fast card reader, and lots of random stuff you'd never buy unless you were at Dollar general.”

“Each Dollar General, although following the same formula (employees stock AND tend to customers), varies significantly by the quality of its employees. Cheshire, MA DG is one of the best I've been in throughout the country. Still, upper management clearly cares more about moving cheap merchandise than its customers, and the customers don't seem to mind.”

“Love the feeling of the old mom and pop stores from when I was a kid. Love you can get you beer and wine there. Also it is cheaper than liquor stores. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Love to shop there.”

“I love Aldis.I went to the Clifton Park location for some groceries and goodies. It was very crowded due to the upcoming Holiday but they had an extra register open and the lines were moving steadily. The staff is always pleasant”

“Love this shop owned by New family now. Hopefully they don't do away with the penny candy isle its been there for 50+ years my gram used to take me for candy and now I take my kids for some when they have a good day overall”

“Seems odd to review a supermarket but this is a really nice one. Excellent staff, departments, selections, bla bla, all things we already know and love. But the best thing ever invented since sliced bread is the Scan It (tm) device! Go ahead, scan sliced bread with it.Scan while you shop then scan the whole device and pay. It's an underutilized service but it's a profound improvement to checkout. If you are hesitant to try the Scan It device, it's pretty simple and staff are happy to help if you get stuck. Worst case is you end up checking out in the traditional way. Meh.To start, scan your Stop and Shop card at the Scan It kiosk near self checkout. A few moments later it will click and light up one of the scanning devices just for you. It has a touch screen and a scan trigger. As you shop, point and shoot, it goes beep, put the item in your (hopefully) reusable bag. You can fill your cart to overflowing if you want to.When you're ready, touch its Checkout button. The Checkout button will warn about finalizing your cart then displays a personal barcode. You scan that barcode at any self checkout register and pay. That's it! Boop. They might audit your cart once to make sure you're doing a good job. Staff will help if you get tangled up.There are a few ways to get tangled up in the device, namely accidentally touching screen buttons. Such buttons include price check, cart item list, probably other things. If that happens, there is also a button called Scan which sets you back to normal.”

“We stopped here for gas. They participate with Gas Buddy. If you are a Gas Buddy user, make sure you “activate deal” before you use your Gas Buddy card. Also, the pumps look brand new and allow for tap and pay if you prefer that method. Maps said we were going to Mag’s Market, but the door had it as Hazara Food Mart. I did not go inside. 4 stars because it looked dumpy, but the pumps were nice!”

“We came here to pick up food and kitchen supplies while staying at a rental in the Berkshires. Staff was friendly and able to give us quick answers. Set-up is similar to other locations we'd been to. Prices were low, especially with so many generic items available. Shelves and appearances were adequately maintained as product (especially grocery) moves quickly.”

“Walmart is the one and only shopping center we have in town. So I am happy it's a super Walmart. I get everything I need for my household at Walmart. It's clean and stocked. What else can I say. Treat your employees right is my only comment against them but my Walmart seems to do well with their employees .”
