“I love this place Alpine Deli, the most incredible sandwiches I have ever eaten. I ate them every day, I worked near the place, I went at noon and I ALWAYS did it WITHOUT FAIL. Got an amazing chicken oh turkey sandwiches with black olives and jalapeño, VERY GOOD. You couldn't ask for a better sandwich shop with friendlier people working the counter. Very sociable and fantastic service. 10/10 I would eat 100 times more. I hope to come back some day.”

“Based on the older reviews I purposefully went here expecting the workers to be rude but they weren’t. I was a little disappointed. I think the old owners died. Now it has new owners.

They were great and served some of the best homemade Mexican food I’ve ever had. Not restaurant Mexican food, but delicious homemade Mexican food. Best Mexican breakfast burritos I’ve ever had. Delicious guacamole. Tacos, Carnitas burritos etc.

The sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches were also soft and delicious.

We were here for three days, ate at least half our meals from here.”

“The woman who works the morning/day shift is absolutely divine. Never have I met a kinder soul. Absolutely love her and wish everything well for her.

The guy with the beard who was training the new kid with dyed hair however…something in the racist vibe. Seemingly had a hard time helping me (a visibly brown woman) and two Asian men; could not bother to answer our questions (I wanted to know if I could swap out a soda I got), but had no problem helping the white dude who wanted to buy boxes of alcohol. With the country’s political climate right now, my family and I came to Stowe to relax so it’s very sad to know that I can’t escape such treatment here.”
