“I’ve been a loyal customer of this Lidl location for many years and have always appreciated the store’s quality and value. However, I’d like to share some feedback regarding the self-checkout area. The space is quite tight, making it difficult to navigate—especially when using a large cart. Today, I found myself having to squeeze between other customers who were checking out, as there wasn’t enough room to pass comfortably without moving someone else’s cart.
I also noticed that while the store has seven cashier lanes, typically only one is open. If possible, it might be beneficial to remove one of the cashier lanes to create more space for the self-checkout area. This adjustment would make the checkout process smoother and more comfortable for all customers.

“My first visit to a Giant Food supermarket. They have a good variety of Gluten free, dairy free, soy free brands. Found Schar, which I haven't seen at other stores. They also have So Delicious and Glutino. I got some produce and other items to make GF, DF, soy free eating possible while I'm in Leesburg.”

“This store has the BEST employees! I live about an hour away so I don’t come here often and had trouble finding a few things. One employee asked if I needed any help, I said I’d really like a summer sausage to go with cheese and crackers; suddenly the whole store is helping me track down this sausage. Cashier was patient and very friendly. I was offered help loading my larger items into our truck by another employee and then he took my cart back inside for me. I really wish I would’ve caught the employee’s names because they are doing a wonderful job. It’s just hard to find customer service like this any more. Good job Safeway, your employees make this store a wonderful shopping experience!”
“Not the biggest selection of stuff for sale and inventory seems low, but they are very friendly and it does have a Post Office inside so those are very great bonus points. The building and general area have a great, quaint historic vibe too.”

“A wonderful selection of herbs, cheeses, dried goods and meat from around the eastern part of the world. Bulgar, different types of dried beans, peas and wheat berries. The selection of pickles, olives and fruits is very good. The candies, sweets are very good. Coffees, teas plus the pots to brew them make a delicious selection. Different herbs and spices from India, Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon and other parts of the eastern world make cooking different international meals easy. We enjoy the wonderful cheeses and meat products. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Have been a regular for several years - will keep going back.”

“I'm not going to lie, this is probably one of the nicest Walmarts that I've ever been to. Super clean, well maintained, well staffed -- it's got it all. Plus it's got an incredible selection of international foods and ingredients for anything that you might want to cook to expand your tastes. Every time I visit there's plenty of people to check out and usually a large number of self-checkouts open, so there's never any sort of wait. If you're looking for some supermarket shopping out in this area, this is definitely a great place to visit!”

“I was in the area and needed to pick up a few things so I decided to check out this Harris Teeters - wow! I have to say I think this is the nicest HT I've ever been in. It's enormous, clean, well organized, well stocked and has just those few touches to make it feel extra (check out the embellishments on the aisle directory signs - fancy!). I even found some items that have been difficult to find elsewhere (supply chain issues I'm sure). Check out was super fast and the cashier was friendly. My purchases were bagged properly (food separate from cleaning supplies - yay!). Overall just a super pleasant shopping experience. Also, there's a Starbucks inside for my fellow caffeine addicts out there.”
