“Big Wegmans, a lot of fresh fruit and great selection - better than what I get up in NJ with the moondrop grapes and more available.
I do wish they had bigger iced teas upfront to go!
I would say the only main downside is the turn out onto the Sterling Road that gets you back to the main road is a bit of a nightmare since traffic keeps coming off of Pacific and the cross-traffic out of the Target and rest of the complex can have you waiting for a while. This needs a stop sign or a light.”
“This is the best food lion there is by far! Highly recommend to anyone who needs a good deal or has a big family to feed. Best part about this place is the amazing staff. If you ever need any help, you can always count on Alex (bubba). Sarah the assistant manager is also the sweetest person there is. If you are ever wanting a quiet checkout for my anti socials out there I recommend jalil he is very respectful and with ask if you want paper or plastic and send you on your way.”
“I absolutely love this store! It's an affordable whole food and health shop where I can easily spend hours exploring. As someone from Europe, I’m thrilled to find many of the products I used back home, making it a nostalgic experience for me. They offer a wide selection of produce, seafood, and Asian and Indian flavors, though it leans less towards American options—if that’s what you’re after, you might want to stick with Giant. This store is far superior to any Giant, Wegmans, or Whole Foods I’ve been to. The prices are unbeatable, and they have a fantastic range of Ayurvedic health products at incredibly low prices. Even if other locations share the same name, none compare to this one when it comes to health-conscious offerings. I haven’t found a better store yet!❤️❤️❤️”

“I couldn’t resist writing a review for Ti because she truly deserves the recognition.
Ti provides outstanding customer service. She pays close attention to every customer’s order and makes sure everything is prepared exactly as requested. My order was perfect, and I couldn’t find a single thing to complain about.
What impressed me even more was that she treated every customer with the same level of care. While I was waiting in line, I watched her interact with the customers before me and after me. She greeted everyone with a warm smile, was friendly, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure they had a great experience.
Employees like Ti make a huge difference. If every Starbucks or Safeway had someone like her, I would gladly buy my coffee there every single day.

“Lidl in Barcelona got us through 5 months of the pandemic in 2020, and we have been huge fans ever since. We stopped in because we were driving by (and we don't have one close to us in CA), and were most excited to see the pastel de natas that we fell in love with in Barcelona! We bought the last two. 😋 Honestly, though, all the bakery items are wonderful and affordably priced.”
“I’ve been using this pharmacy since I moved to NOVA a year ago, and I really appreciate them. The pharmacists and staff are always friendly and helpful - but I specifically want to highlight that they consistently price check items for me with insurance vs. good rx - and I very much appreciate their extra time and effort on this matter. American healthcare is a hot mess, and so I’m extra grateful for industry workers who do their best to help patients, even when it’s above and beyond their job description.”
“Overall, this is a good store with competitive prices, and many everyday items are actually cheaper than Publix. The selection of wine, beer, groceries, and prepared foods is very good.
However, it often feels like popular items sell out quickly and are not restocked fast enough. Sometimes products that are running low are left at the back of the shelf instead of being faced forward, which makes some sections look half-empty. It seems like the store could benefit from a few more employees focused on stocking and presentation.
The prepared food is good, but prices are on the expensive side. Despite that, I still enjoy shopping here and would recommend it.”

“I usually have a good experience with the customer service at this Giant, so I was disappointed by my interaction this time.
I found a shrimp item online for the Towncenter location listed at around $17, but the price tag in the store was around $19. When I brought it up, Aziza, who seemed to be a manager or customer service representative, insisted that it was not the same item. However, the packaging and everything else matched the picture online. I understand that pricing discrepancies can happen, but I felt the interaction became unnecessarily back-and-forth and harsh. In my experience, a more hospitable approach would have been to simply honor the online price or find a reasonable solution for the customer.
That said, Dennis was absolutely amazing! I usually use self-checkout, but Dennis looked so welcoming as he waited for someone to come to his register. He told me about the new sale printout machine and was incredibly sweet, kind, and helpful. His genuine warmth really stood out and made a positive impression.
The world needs more people like Dennis! He is a great example of what excellent customer service should feel like.”

“Hands down the best Iranian style kabobs I’ve had in the DMV. Kamran, the Iranian chef behind the grill, brings serious skill from years in hotel kitchens in Iran and Turkey. The meat is freshly cut by the jolly in-house butcher, the bread is homemade, and even the simplest order (just meat and bread) outshines the competition.
Pro tip: Ask for your kabob wet (with chicken fat on the bread). While you wait, check out the butcher counter or grab some Persian pistachios and lavashak up front. An absolute hidden gem.”
“I was a witness to the situation mentioned in the recent review, and after returning to the store today and learning about that review, I felt it was important to share my perspective.
From what I observed, the employee remained calm and respectful throughout the interaction. She took the time to explain that the product was halal and even showed the label to provide clarification. It was clear she was making a genuine effort to address the concern and be transparent.
It seemed there may have been a misunderstanding, and unfortunately the situation escalated despite those efforts. I also think it’s important to be mindful when raising serious concerns like this in front of other customers without clear information, as it can create confusion.
What stood out to me was the employee’s patience — she continued to explain calmly, even though she could have simply ended the interaction. Instead, she chose to handle it professionally.
I’ve personally shopped here multiple times, and the quality of the halal meat has consistently been good. Based on my experience and what I witnessed, I believe the store is doing its best to serve customers properly.”

I moved around the area not too long ago and used to make night trips to get takis whenever I craved, but they never had the original only the new wave takis which was disappointing.
