“This review is specifically for Eva and Lucy. VIDA Style Shop is for the most discerning of buyers. I’m new to the area and love consignment shopping, so I researched more than 10 shops, specifically comparing customer service, quality, and pricing. VIDA immediately stood out. From the moment I walked in, Eva created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. She was on the phone when I arrived, yet still greeted me with a smile and the same genuine warmth she showed everyone who entered the store. Lucy was equally wonderful—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without ever being overbearing. The entire atmosphere was upbeat and inviting. I purchased three beautiful pieces at very reasonable prices and absolutely fell in love with VIDA. When I mentioned how impressed I was with the store and how much research I had done, Lucy went above and beyond by taking the time to look up their two sister locations and provide me with the information so I could visit those as well. That level of customer service really stood out to me. I live in Ashburn, Virginia, and Old Town Alexandria is about a 45-minute drive for me. There are at least three other consignment shops along my route, and I’ve checked them out, but VIDA is in a league of its own. If you appreciate beautiful, high-quality finds, reasonable pricing, and exceptional customer service, VIDA is absolutely worth the trip. It has definitely become one of my favorite consignment shops.”

This particular store stands out because of its exceptional customer service. There is an associate there who is absolutely outstanding at what she does. Unfortunately, this is my fault—I cannot recall her name—but she is truly amazing. Since I now do most of my shopping online, I rarely visit the store in person. However, on the few occasions I’ve stopped in for returns or exchanges, she has been there, and each time she has demonstrated exceptional professionalism and truly fantastic customer service. She is attentive, patient, and genuinely cares about helping customers. My apologies for not remembering your name, but if you happen to read this, please know that your personality is wonderful, your professionalism is outstanding, and you always make the experience pleasant and stress-free. They also carry a sizable array of interesting, one of a kind jewelry, and gorgeous scarves. So glad they survived the pandemic! I bought a jacket that will take me from the office to dinner out afterwards in a creative yet very comfy fabric. It's well worth a trip when you're in Old Town.”

This spot is terrific. The kids had a water while their Mom finished trying on a few dresses and we walked out with three terrific purchases for summer weddings. Best of all, the prices were extraordinarily reasonable and quality superb.”

“This is a great place to get high quality, gently used kids' clothing! This place has been around a long time, although they did move from one unit in the shopping center to a new one in the past fife years or so. They do a great job of being selective about what they carry and pricing it appropriately. They have tons of my favorites including Hanna Anderson, Gap, Crew Cuts, Patagonia, and more. They have lots of great kids shoes as well--things that would normally be pricier, like Keen, Sperry, etc. I have not consigned with them although I probably should. One thing I really love is that they promote their items on Instagram (handle 529hollinhall) and you can even reserve and pay for items there. They are very active on there AP you can find what you want without having to do much browsing.”

I fell in love with a Japanese robe and the ladies were extremely helpful, even when I said I would return at a later date to buy it. But I just could not leave it there. I rushed back to make the purchase, and the ladies informed me that they were running a sale on florals. SOLD!!
