“This has to be one of my favorite antique stores. Adele and Mara are knowledgeable and passionate about all the merchandise they have. We literally could’ve talked to them all day if we weren’t holding up the line for others to enter the store.They have quite the collection that is fairly priced as they’ve done the research on each item. I ended up purchasing the most beautiful set of silverware I’ve seen, and intend to come back at another date to buy the cutest tea strainer I’ve seen (fingers crossed it’s still there!)Also want to say thank you for not discriminating against us when we came in. This is one of the few antique stores where we were treated like normal people and not stalked around like we’re thieves just because of the color of our skin or treated lowly because we’re not super rich.”

We met with numerous jewelry makers before we found Ivan, Dejan, Emily and Eduardo's team, who helped us from vision to final product. We had a rare stone and wanted to make an engagement ring truly unique and elegant to fit the stone. Within three weeks, Ivan provided several designs matching and exceeding our ideas. Emily and Dejan also provided help with the design and for the final product Eduardo was able to include technically challenging additions. We felt welcomed and supported by the team throughout the process. We couldn't be happier with the final product from these exceptional artists!”

Josh got back to me fairly quick, was attentive to what ideas I had regarding the style and design, and was accommodating to the diamond I had purchase in preparation for the creation of my future fiancée's engagement ring. The ring came out beautifully and I had it in my hands before Christmas! I'd recommend coming here for your jewelry need, as they're a breeze to work with.”

“Very fun store to visit. Nice selection of jewelry, crafts, and knickknacks. A great place to look for gifts. Also, weirdly a good selection of coffee, tea, and cocoa. All of those are covered by a rewards program if you go regularly. The spicy cocoa is particularly tasty.”

I've become a fan and repeat patron of Rami and Daniel of Belle View Jewelers. They are able to quickly diagnose any fixes that may be needed and deliver true quality in their work. Not only do they do all of my watch and clock repairs, I've also had them help me with various jewelry and precious metal matters that have come up over the years. “One of my favorite store for rare finds. There is a variety from furniture to household goods, candles and even outdoor patio items. The entire shop is in an Old Town rowhome and decorated throughout. Each room has a different theme. It’s a wonderful and eclectic selection of items.”

“I purchased a necklace from her during Flower Mart festival at the National Cathedral. I tried to wear it next day to the Birthday party and it got broke slightly. I was so worried as it’s not inexpensive item and I don’t know her. I texted to show her what happened with the item. She immediately responded told me to mail it to her. I mailed it to her she let me know as soon as she received my mail. Within a week she fixed everything included a pair of matching earrings and mailed back to me. Very honest and exceptional customer service! I would definitely shop here again. Allison is Amazing!”

“Need last minute Christmas shopping done?? This is the place! I was able to get the hubs a hover board and cute baby outfits for my nephew!! Easy to pass this store by, but don't! I've always loved the Torpedo Art Center, but when I met Natalie Abrams I was completely taken with her work. Her jewelry is simple, yet elegant. I chose a necklace that I liked, but she didn't have the chain width or length at that time. I chose another chain and Natalie discussed sending it to me because I was only in town for a couple of days. A couple days later Natalie sent me an email stating she was excited to find the exact chain and was very happy with for me. The selection is impressive; from original bangles that have all the shades of sapphires to big chunky gold necklaces, gorgeous pearl earrings with modern touches, diamond necklaces to exquisite engagement rings. The service Melanie provides is as impressive as the shop and unmatched, even by the standards of old town. “We arrived here and the tall gentleman was very customer service oriented and showed us where to find our crafting beads. The bonus was that all of the crafting beads were 50% off, YAY!!We also had an opportunity to explore and found that they have a full end-cap of an aisle dedicated to sticky adhesives for wall (or other) items; from Command to 3M Brands, they have it all. There is a beautiful 75% off clearance section that is absolutely well stocked with a great selection of beautiful items. All Wall Decor is currently 50% off this week so that worked out VERY well for us. We will certainly come here again. It is the closest location to Washington, DC....go figure. They definitely need to explore opening one up closer to DC and/or in DC.”

“A charming and quirky antique shop right off King Street in Old Town Alexandria. I always learn about something interesting and unusual every time I go in from the owner, Angela Silverman or her assistant, John. Whether it's a coffee grinder used by military officers, a portable holy water sprinkler for priests to use on sick visits, or a stunning antique diamond ring, there is sure to be something I enjoy seeing and learning about. Some items I looked at during today's visit were enamel snuffboxes with sayings on them, a diamond jockey stick pin, some beautiful Georg Jensen silver items, and a brass chandelier designed to use both oil and candles. My husband bought my art deco engagement ring at this shop more than fifteen years ago, and we always enjoy visiting (although most of the time we are just browsing.)”
