“Update - We hired GBC again! This time the created a bathroom in our basement. Ray again guided us through design, with suggestions about, e.g., shower door swing, counter height and shower bench height. Sal was the project manager and checked in daily to ensure the project stayed on track and coordinate details. We even sailed through permitting. I recommend those company to everyone with interior remodeling needs! We designed a complete kitchen remodel, without moving utilities. The entire thing took two weeks! GBC thought of all of the small details such as finishing touches like quarter round. GBC was very responsive to every request. We plan to use them for future remodels. You cannot go wrong!”

“Bath Plus Kitchen recently helped remodel our kitchen. It was the only kitchen design firm that would let us use our own contractor, which was really important to us. Eric was fantastic to work with. He did an amazing job with the cabinetry layout and supplied all the drawings in a very timely manner. Our contractor was very impressed with his cabinetry and his installation team. Our kitchen turned out better than we could have imagined and Eric was a huge part of that. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend. An excellent experience.”

“I hired solid kitchen in 2013 for what was supposed to be a quick remodel, but it turned into a full renovation of my home. enre and akin designed the project, and etran with daniel handled the construction. they completely redid my kitchen and all of my bathrooms while i was away in california for a month. when i returned, i was extremely impressed with both the quality of the work and the respect they showed for my home. everything was well protected, organized, and treated with care. most importantly, after 13 years the remodel is still holding up perfectly. nothing has broken down, and the workmanship has truly stood the test of time. i would highly recommend solid kitchen to anyone looking for skilled, reliable, and trustworthy contractors. great work from start to finish.”

“Andre and his team exceeded my expectations in screening in the front porch of our DC row home. It’s absolutely perfect and my family is already loving it as the weather warms up. Many of our neighbors have also complimented the porch and have asked for contact info for our contractor. Thanks Andre!”

“Rafi and his team did a fantastic job for a solid price overhauling the bathroom in my Alexandria condo. I work onsite in the city everyday but this wasn’t an issue for the team, and even when I was moving out and needed to move large furniture through the thoroughfare where bathroom materials were behind staged, the worker was very courteous and understanding. Very considerate the whole time. Even during the demolition stage, when I came back home there were tarps covering my belongings all the way front door to the bathroom to avoid dust and debris getting on them. Aside from the great housekeeping, the workmanship was great, communication was efficient, material selection was easy, and the billing was very straight forward. Solid deal, would absolutely go back and recommend them to others.”

“We highly recommend Alexandria Kitchen and Bath. We had planned to totally remodel our master bath a few years ago and were not satisfied with a couple of remodeling companies. Several residents in our condo complex have used AKandB and were happy with the results. We spoke with Tanya about what we wanted and the timeline. We wanted a total overhaul of our master bath and vanity area. She walked us through the process and recommended where to purchase the furnishings. After listening to ideas we had about the remodeling, she drafted an excellent design. One of our biggest concerns was the timeline for doing the project. We wanted the work to be accomplished while we were out of town, but we were highly concerned about having the work completed while we were away. Residents and the chief engineer in our complex assured us that we need not worry. We took their advice, crossed our fingers, and gave the okay to do the project. When we returned from our trip we were amazed at the professionalism of the work. I told Tanya that she can use us as a reference. We will be happy to show the results as long as the viewing is scheduled through Tanya. Georges, the professional who did the remodeling, did a phenomenal job. We are ecstatic about the results.”

“I initially went to Ferguson's warehouse in Alexandria and a gentleman was very helpful and referred me to their showroom near Springfield for more selections.. I just purchased bathroom fixtures from the Springfield showroom which has an expansive display. Bernie is an exceptional salesperson!! He spent so much time explaining brand features and options and I am so appreciative.”

“Maria Rahman was an amazing help to me and my husband. She helped us pick out tile for three bathrooms in her house and led us in each stage of the decisions, including tile selection and grout selection. We couldn’t be more pleased with the help that she provided us, condensing down options and helping us tackle our indecisiveness!! Thanks to Maria for helping us to make beautiful choices! Couldn’t be more grateful!!”

“I stopped by the Ferguson store because I couldn’t figure out how to use the website to purchase a shower system. It was complicated because it was being sold as a set and I instead wanted all the parts except the shower head which I wanted to customize. I met with Lauren and she was super helpful and patient. I liked how she worked quickly with me and didn't try to upsell me on any of the numerous more expensive brands. In fact, she quickly figured out what I was trying to do and recommended options within my budget steering me away from more expensive items. I was expecting to make a purchase in the store itself, thinking she would be commission compensated but instead, she helped me understand the website, created a project, loaded my cart and gave me a temporary login so I could go back on my own and further browse and select what I wanted without pressure. A great experience. I didn't comment in the store itself but the showroom is very nice and has a lot of options.”
