“When I moved into this neighborhood around 15yrs ago, I was impressed by the cleanliness and friendly staff at this giant. It still is impressively clean and the staff is still extremely friendly. Whether it’s the pharmacy, the cashier, the shelf stockers or the people at the front desk…They all seem to enjoy working there. Today I -once again- noticed how shiny and clean the floors are, how neatly the shelves are stocked. Nearby is a brand new giant; much larger, more space for a bigger selection. I don’t care. I find everything I need in my neighborhood store. It might not be new or large, but it’s still shiny and has great employees.
I read some of the 1-star reviews and must say: I have never experienced any of the grievances described.”

I went to get vaccinated, but it was a good experience other than having to wait a bit without making a reservation.
I think vaccinations will be done here in the future.
It's cheaper than going to the hospital, and you can go without an appointment...”

“I always pick up my meds from this location (Safeway Annandale) and I’m really satisfied with their great costumer service. Lines are not as long as the other pharmacies and they really take their time helping each costumer. I definitely recommend this pharmacy.”

“It's a good pharmacy. The representative pharmacist is also nice... This is an industry where there is a lot of fatigue (emotional labor) due to the rudeness of customers. If you are polite, you will be treated appropriately. We're not just talking about pharmacies here. It would be really good if you observed the minimum courtesy as a guest everywhere.”
“It’s not often that you come across an employee who truly cares about their customers, but Mulu at Walgreens is one of those rare people. When I approached her, she answered all of my questions professionally and assisted me to the best of her ability. She was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure I felt helped rather than rushed.
What really stood out was that she went the extra mile by checking the back room to see if the product I needed was available. This was especially impressive because it was truck day and the store was clearly very busy and a bit hectic. Despite that, Mulu stepped away from what she was doing to make sure I was taken care of.
Her willingness to go above and beyond, even during such a busy time, shows her dedication and strong work ethic. Walgreens is fortunate to have someone like Mulu on their team. Thank you for the excellent customer service!”

I came in stressed and confused about my prescription and insurance, and he completely turned the situation around. He went above and beyond in every sense—he took the time to step out, look deeply into the system, review my insurance, explain everything clearly, and guide me step by step until I got the exact medication I needed.
What truly stood out is how much he genuinely cared. He didn’t rush me, didn’t brush me off—he was patient, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. You can tell he is highly skilled and truly dedicated to helping people.
It’s rare to find someone this professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented. He made a complicated situation feel easy and stress-free, and I left feeling so grateful.
