“My husband and I moved in about 3 weeks ago and have been really happy with our experience. Prior to moving in, Nieema (one of the leasing staff), was very helpful with answering our questions and kind enough to even provide us with an impromptu tour when were passing through the neighborhood.

Now that we're settled in, I think the value for rent is one of the best in this area. Great location and strong brick building! We had a minor issue with our dryer upon moving - we submitted a ticket and the following morning it was resolved. The entire staff and concierge, Grover, have all been wonderful. Highly recommend!”

“The customer service from the leasing team onsite at Sheffield court has been so great, it's really defied any expectations I had before signing a lease with Sheffield. I would like to specifically highlight the incredible work that Charlotte Griffin, the leasing manager, has done for my partner and I at Sheffield. She has been consistently attentive and thoughtful when assisting with our lease with Equity Residential and she has gone above and beyond to meet our needs. It is just not something you find everywhere and she is truly deserving of recognition!!”

“I’m a current resident here at 1800 Oak Apartments. I’ve been a resident here for seventeen years. When you find something that works you stick with it. I absolutely love the dog park and grilling areas. The other residents make living here a happy home as well. There’s a concierge, Kendra who is awesome, if I can’t walk my dog she’ll help me and take him to the dog park. As I am disabled some days are harder than others. Many times my deliveries are left at concierge desk and she’ll kindly remind the driver this order was scheduled to be delivered at the front door. If I should have a package that’s enormously heavy Kendra will bring it up. I lost my vision several years back and Kendra had known but the beauty was whenever she saw me she said it’s Kendra on your right. She knew I didn’t see well anymore being legally blind. Fernando, Tee ( Assistant Manager), Ranolodo and Howa are all wonderful, professional, respectful individuals that know friendliness goes far and is best with professionalism. This is our home and it’s understood a kind smile and quick answered service requests help to be comfortable. Also, the residents are so kind. One resident gives all the dogs she runs into doggy treats. The building manager is so kindhearted. She’s very personable and intent on getting your needs met. The first time my dog met her he jump up all over her. That a huge sign to me, especially when he barks at everyone he doesn’t know. Faren is easy to talk to, she’s very friendly and she makes me smile. Anyone looking for a homie apartment where the residents will hold the elevator for you. Where you can walk your dog around the pet park, grill outside and use the fabulous gym and pool. Also, where the concierges and maintenances workers are so willing to offer there services in the kindest way. Please check out the beautiful apartments and wonderful amenities here at 1800 Oak Apartments. You won’t be disappointed!!!”

He was very friendly, patient, and didn't make me feel rushed or pressured in any way. I will definitely be referring this property to any friends that are looking to move into the area.”

The good: Outstanding staff and community. The absolute highlight of our year here was the team. The front desk staff (Donna, Addis and Angie) was always amazing, helpful, and welcoming, and the cleaning crew was incredibly friendly and professional. They really make the building feel like a community, and we made great friends during our time here. When issues were reported, management was quick to respond and schedule inspections.

Things to know before moving in: We lived on the ground floor, and after heavy rains, bugs would occasionally creep in from under the front door, which was unpleasant to deal with. There was also active construction right across the street for much of our lease. Overall, the apartment unit itself was solid, nothing exceptionally good or bad. Your experience will largely depend on which floor and side of the building your unit is on.”

Ted’s always great at taking care of the night shift with auditing packages to make sure everyone gets the right ones and the parking lot so you know you’ll have a space

David always has great energy in the mornings with the upcoming weather situation and some fun things going on like star wars music for May 4th.

Finally Chris has been an amazing maintenance guy and has helped me countless times for emergency maintenance or the general every day stuff, plus it’s always a pleasure to talk run into him at events or in the elevator!

Overall I love the spot, and the staff really go above and beyond to do what they can for the residents and that makes a huge difference!”

“I lived here for two years and only decided to move because I am relocating to another state for work. Otherwise I would never want to leave this place. The friendliest, cleanest, most put together apartment complex in the area. You are treated like family and feel as though you have the place to yourself at times! Super quiet and spacious.

Norlan and Roxanna work up front and take care of their residents like they are family. I am so sad to leave this incredible place. I truly considered it home for two years.”

“We are about to move away for job relocations, but my friend and I have absolutely loved living here and would highly recommend it! The staff is incredibly nice and always responsive. The community is super convenient with Costco, Whole Foods, Alamo, the Metro, and DCA all nearby. The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning (it feels like living in Stardew Valley, even though you're right next to DC!). The only minor downside I can think of is that the utilities are a bit high, but otherwise, my experience at Water Park has been perfect.”

“I moved into Bell Arlington Ridge a few months ago, and my living situation has been great. First of all, Jacque and Tyler were very very helpful and welcoming with the initial move-in process, answering questions promptly and in-detail. They are quick to resolve maintenance requests as well. The actual apartments themselves are very nice, with modern appliances and clean features upon move in. The overall apartment itself has very nice features and perks to it. I have only had positive experiences at Bell Ridge apartments.”

“2001 Clarendon is a quality apartment complex. It’s not too large and it’s extremely well maintained - they literally clean the BBQ spotless every day. Glenn, the property manager, is also super helpful and competent, something that is rare to see nowadays.”

“Choosing Virginia Square Plaza Apartments to live in was one of the best decisions I made when I moved to D.C. It is in a safe area and steps away from the Virginia Square Plaza Metro station (for easy access to the WMATA Orange and Silver lines) and a short walk to a nearby Giant grocery store. Being located in between and within walking distance to Clarendon and Ballston, you get to experience the best of both of these vibrant North Arlington neighborhoods. It's also a short walk to Quincy Park and Maury Park, both of which have tennis courts. Utilities (power, water, garbage and sewer) are included in the cost of rent so there are no separate bills there. Parking and Storage are reasonably priced and the units come with balconies. The building has a game room, a business center, and a community room which can be reserved for private events for free with a refundable deposit. And I have always been impressed by the promptness in the handling of maintenance requests and the courtesy of the staff members in the building. You can't go wrong with selecting Virginia Square Plaza Apartments as a place to live.”

“Been here almost 3 years. Community is lovely, maintenance is awesome. Front office folks are very nice but can be hit or miss with availability. So must plan ahead if you need something, no guarantee that someone will be present during posted times.”

The units have large rooms and a great kitchen for apartments this size, plus additional storage on site if needed.
