“The Westin offered a gratifying experience this time, with its impeccable cleanliness and spot-on ambiance. Room service was remarkably efficient, and the location couldn't be better—right across the street from Carpool bar, which boasted an awesome vibe for evening relaxation. My only wish is for extended pool hours, as having access until at least midnight would have been the cherry on top of an already delightful stay.”

“My stay at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel was quite interesting. I was there to participate in an event for young entrepreneurs, and the hotel was perfect to host the respective activities. With its excellent structure, the hotel comfortably accommodated young people from several Latin American countries.During my stay, I enjoyed both the official event activities and leisure time. The hotel itself was impeccable, offering all the amenities and comforts needed for a pleasant stay. However, as I explored the surrounding area of Arlington, I noticed that the area was a bit isolated and better suited to those driving. Compared to Washington, which I was already used to, Arlington seemed a little more difficult to get around, especially for those who depend on public transportation. In summary, inside the hotel, my experience was excellent, but the surrounding region could offer a slightly richer and more accessible experience, especially in terms of getting around and exploring the area.”

“I am a HH member, i.e. a frequent guest at Hilton Group hotels, as I travel a lot for work. I have unfortunately observed during the past few years that the Hilton hotels in the US are on a deterioration path as the quality of services and facilities gets worst. However, it was a surprisingly fresh breeze to discover and stay at Hilton Arlington. The level of service and facility quality here was on par with a 5-star hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Timely and superb cleaning. Cool decorations. Well-maintained facilities. This will be a place where I will stay next time I visit Washington DC.”

“The Crystal City Marriot is in the perfect Arlington location when you need to be near D.C. I ordered a grilled chicken mediterranean salad for room service. It was very fast and arrived fresh and tasty. Please note that they are doing extensive construction surrounding the hotel now, so if you were hoping to sleep in past 7 am, it might be difficult. Other than that minor inconvenience, I'd visit again.”

“It is a 1/2 mile from Fort Myers (Arlington, VA). I was there for the ATW trombone wotkshop on the base. Good views of DC monuments on upper floors (city view, ask for it). Near Chrystal City and Arlington cemetery. I have been coming here for several years but it is getting pricy. You pay to park here ($32.00). Very limited on street parking. If you get the breakfast buffet, ask them to make you an omelet instead of the scrambled eggs on the buffet. Friendly staff. AAA/senior discounts will help with the price. Some past water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom. Refrigerator but no microwave.”

“Food was fairly decent for a bar. They even had gluten free options. Service was pretty decent as well. Prices are what you would expect I think. Atmosphere wasn't bad except in the evening they had a DJ and the music was pretty loud. I liked the music he was playing, it was just a bit loud for a hotel bar. If you're staying at the hotel and need food and drinks it's worth stopping by.”

“For a two-night staycation, my wife, seven-year-old daughter and I checked into the Ritz-Carlton, one of Arlington's only luxury hotels. Right outside the Pentagon City Metro and connected to the Pentagon City Mall, here's our experience.1) Check-In: With the app, it's easy. Our stay was in the app with all the details. Check in went smoothly. Upon check in, you can choose a mobile room key or physical key cards. Staff offered to help with our luggage.Next to the check in desk is a Ritz Kids kiosk that my seven-year-old daughter enjoyed. After filling out a few questions, she was given a coloring pad, crayons, a scavenger hunt map, a stuffed animal, and gummy bears. "I feel like a princess," she said.2) Rooms: We stayed on floor 18, the club access level, in a double bed room with views of D.C.'s monuments. We could see the Washington Monument, the National Cathedral, and nearby Air Force Memorial (in Arlington). The room came with a desk, luggage stands, a closet, a small bathroom, a mini bar, and a snack bar for pay. There were enough outlets and the bathroom came with a shaving kit, a dental kit, and more. The water pressure was great and the water can be turned to soft or hard. For the three of us, the room's beds were small. Both moving around a lot, my daughter and I shared a bed and didn't sleep well. The second night we got a mattress for the floor so we each had a place to sleep.3) Amenities: The hotel has a third floor gym with weights, machines, a sauna, and steam room in each changing room area. The pool was closed for renovation. There's the Sante restaurant and bar on the ground level near meeting rooms. The Club Lounge on the 18th floor offered five meal times throughout the day with quality food, views of the monuments, and plenty of tables to sit and read. They also had wine, drinks, and a candy bar.In the lobby, there's a postcard area to send free postcard to friends and family. The hotel offers valet service.4) Service: The Ritz is know for the "Ritz-Carlton Way." Every staff member was genuinely friendly, remembering our names, and treating us like family. At every step, they offered to help. When we bought dumplings that needed to be frozen, they stored it in the hotel freezer for us.Our daughter felt special throughout our stay. At dinner, the restaurant Sante placed a stuffed animal on her plate. The valet service let her pick a toy from their toy box. She loved staying here!5) Area: It's near the Metro and the mall is connected with all types of shops and a food court. For good coffee, walk two blocks to Commonwealth Joe. The Metropolitan Park and Long Bridge Park are close with trails, public art, and views.(Disclaimer: The hotel hosted our stay, but views are my own. They didn't ask for me to post.)”

“Basic. Fine. Nothing to write home about. Was given this hotel for the night after American made me miss my connection, so I wasn't expecting much. But it was comfortable enough. The front desk staff was great.”

“I think this Residence Inn is one of the best deals in the greater DC metro area. Super convenient location next to the Courthouse metro station, as well as plenty of restaurants, shops, and other activities within walking distance. The rooms are great, very spacious and with lots of amenities. Since it's a Residence Inn, the rooms come with a full size fridge and kitchenette - very convenient if you're staying more than just a few days. All this, and a till at a nightly rate on par or (usually) below the smaller rooms you'd get at a hotel in DC proper. The hotel is pet friendly, though they charge a fee ($150 total for the entire visit, as of May 2023). The only reason I couldn't give a fifth star is because the fitness center leaves a lot to be desired, with minimal cardio equipment and only a rack of dumbbells, in a tiny room. For what it's worth, there is an indoor pool, with limited hours. All in all, a fantastic value for this expensive area.”

“The place is a bit small, the breakfast was good but could improve. The price is good for just one night. Maybe a little repair to small things in the hotel (like the doors of the room, and there was no microwave in the room for example) wouldn't go amiss.Rooms: They only put two towels that were somewhat worn (we were 4 people) and the doors may need to be repaired, the bed was a little uncomfortable because I think it sank a little but nothing serious or bad. For one night it's good.”

“Very nice staff. Rooms clean and fresh. LOTS of places nearby. Primo location! No brekkies but their coffee is wonderful! They remove it though too early. It's 32 degrees outside at 3pm and I really would love a cup from the lobby! No coffeemaker in the room. Our room faced a wooded area nd we watched a red fox play around in the woods for about an hour. He/she was beautiful! Here is a pic,!”

“Parking is expensive at the hotel. They charge $$ 40 per night.Freeshuttle to the airport.Nearby activities: Arlington cemetery.Noteworthy details: Nice view of the Pentagon, Washington monument.Traffic is horrible. If you are planning to drive to visit the museums, monuments, the cost for parking average $30.00+ if you find space in the public parking buildings, you can make reservations in advance for a lower price. Street parking is restricted to only two hours.Be prepared to walk about two+ miles from Lincoln Memorial to the White House.* You can rent scooters or a bike within the city, it is safe and fun.capital bikeshare, rents regular and e- bikes for a great price for all day pass.Reserve your museum passes in advance. Tickets are free, but you are required to have a ticket to enter.Otherwise, you will have to make a long line.”

“We arrived, dropped our gear and headed to the basketball. Staff were good. Room was reasonable. It was a quiet night and we were able to leave our vehicle the next day until around while we explored DC.”

“Definitely a great location by LYFT to anywhere you want to see. The place is old but it was quiet and relatively cheap considering the area's other hotels.Breakfast was a blessing every dayRooms: Need some maintenance on the bathroom hinges, the hot water was slow in arriving but that may have been because we were at the end of the hotelSafety: It is a rougher neighborhood when headed to some local places but you take a LYFT out of the neighborhood”

“Pleasantly surprised. I read previous reviews and didn't know what to expect. When we got here check in was easy. The room was clean and neat. Staff was friendly. Even brought in a rolling bed for us. Very happy with this hotel.”

“It was clean, and that's important. No hair dryer or worthwhile soap and shampoo. Bring your own. Miss no breakfast, especially when there is no place close by for having breakfast.”
