Very thankful to have such amazing people helping us through his senior years. I also always appreciate them trying to work with our crazy schedule. Just when I think it will be impossible to get him in for an issue, they make it work somehow. In addition, they are very prompt and efficient making sure he always has his meds, bloodwork, and prescriptions.

5050 Stony Point Rd, BarboursvilleWe had a wonderful time at Chestnut Oak Winery. Started with a red and white flight, both quite enjoyable. Sarah provided a bit of knowledge in the red blend (Bordeaux style) and also let us know that Cab Franc was being planted! A 4-5 year wait for it to reach our lips, but it's starting. Followed by a glass of Euclid and Petit Verdot. Wonderful time.

Burnley Vineyards
4500 Winery Ln, BarboursvilleMy first, but not last, visit to Burnley Vineyard. This vineyard is family owned and ran. Very friendly and welcoming. It was like going to a friend's home you haven't seen in awhile and catching up with them. I have been to a lot of vineyards and this one had a feeling of being amongst friends, not just a customer. Not only that but the wine is amazing. I have never been able to find a red wine I like. Now I have, Dog Gone Red! The bonus is the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this vineyard. You will not run into people working for a paycheck. You will meet people that care about their wine and you.

Barboursville Vineyards
17655 Winery Rd, BarboursvilleSecond visit. We were in Charlottesville for a triathlon and planned to visit Barboursville for bubbly to celebrate. Do NOT miss! We sat outside enjoying bubbles, an Octagon tasting and charcuterie. So impressed by the history, wines and service.
