16186 Rogers Rd, CulpeperWe have a house full of Springer Spaniels & anyone who has ever had a Springer knows that their hair alone is a full time job. We’ve been with Doggy Clipps since the older 3 were just puppies. Then we ended up with 10 SS puppies and kept two and the amazing girls from Doggy Clipps now groom them as well. We’ve had Michele, Laura and Taylor and I can’t say enough good things about all of them. They’re so friendly, sweet, patient, caring and they are pure of heart dog people! Now you’d expect groomers to be dog people but I’ll just say I have seen otherwise so rest assured, these ladies can calm even the most nervous pup. Our littlest girl is a bit of a nervous wreck after some surgical complications which meant getting in the car several times and now she associates her harness and getting in a vehicle with going to the vet to get poked and prodded. Taylor let me sit in the van and hold Valley while she patiently and sweetly took baby steps to make her feel safe and comfortable. No matter how hectic our house is or how unprepared I am when they arrive, they’re always happy to chat and play with the pups while I try to get one of the dogs ready to go to the van. And the dogs are always so happy to see their friends coming to groom them. Also, Dylan is very kind and quick to respond and try to get us in with our schedule. I can’t say enough about this wonderful group of people! Pictured below is our most recently groomed pup, not only does he look adorable but you can tell he feels great! ??

The care and knowledge that was provided for oiur puppy at the end of rhe day, was thorough and the staff did not rush their treatment in order to go home. I wound use this vet again without hesitation.

I just completed the week-long decoy seminar at ProK9 Services that they had in Florida, and I can honestly say it was one of the best training experiences I’ve ever had. The instructors were absolutely phenomenal — their knowledge, hands-on guidance, and real-world expertise were on another level.
Every single day was packed with valuable information, practical application, and expert instruction that pushed me to become a better, safer, and more effective decoy. The amount of knowledge I gained in just one week is incredible, and I’m excited to bring everything I learned back to my own training facility, Paws Unleashed.
This seminar has elevated my skills, sharpened my understanding, and given me tools I will use with every dog and handler that comes through my program. The instructors truly care about producing high-quality decoys and setting people up for long-term success.

Mountain Run Kennel
15467 Retriever Rd, CulpeperI feel at ease leaving my babies here when I'm traveling. All of the staff is great with my dogs, they instantly remember them when we come in and it makes for an easy drop off. We use the suite they offer which is perfect for more nervous or shy dogs.
I think their prices are fair and I don't feel like I'm being nickel and dimed just so my dogs will have a good experience like some of the other facilities have made me feel.
It's a shame that a few bad eggs have been able to drive down the rating for Mountain Run, but take it with a grain of salt. The facility is great, the staff is awesome, and it's a wonderful place to board your babies.

She has changed my life drastically by her incredible work helping my previous reactive dog. Now I have two of her pups and I couldn’t be happier. We are working to put one of my girls through her therapy dog program which has been a long time dream of mine. She listens and respects owners, she trains the dog in-front of her and she truly cares about each dog she has the privilege to help. I honestly cannot recommend her enough!!!

People and volunteer staff were awesome. 10/10 recommend just know there's a bit of walking involved ? and while not paved seemed doable for those using motorized scooters/chairs or just walkers

Far Gohn Brewing Company
301 S East St, CulpeperI've lived in northern Virginia for over 50 years and I had no idea Culpeper had such an interesting downtown. It was always a town just to drive through to get somewhere else for me. I landed at this brewery recently, very close to the train station (that is actually served by Amtrak) and was pleasantly surprised. Although the place is set up more like a restaurant (a slight negative to someone looking for a pure brewery experience), the pizza they offer smelled damn delicious and made me regret I decided to give up regular crust pizza. The beer, red ale, was quite good, not staggeringly great but tasty. There are tables outside and you can soak in the industrial feel of downtown Culpeper. Beer lovers in Culpeper probably flock here for their various events. Luray needs a place like this - in case the owners of Far Gohn are reading this.

This place has a fantastic outdoor area that is not crowded, perfect mix of sun and shade, plenty of picnic tables, speakers and lights in the trees for ambiance. My SO and I tried everything! I did a wine flight and he did a beer flight on Friday afternoon.i had a mix of red, white and a sparkling rose. I liked the whites and rose best. We ate at Green Ribbon, the onsite kitchen. Everything we had was delicious. The highlight was Eggs Benedict over fries. Their salads, fries and special pumpkin panna cotta were phenomenal. We did a spirits flight on Saturday and fell in love with their herbal gin and coffee liquors. The service was excellent. Servers were knowledgeable, friendly and organized. Food and drinks came out in a timely manner and we loved the relaxed vibe of the place. I will be telling all my friends to go and would love to go back again.

215 E Davis St, CulpeperThis is such a cute place to stop for a coffee and/or a light lunch! I had the lavender London fog and it was delicious!! I had the smoked salmon bagel to eat, which was also very good, though I did have to construct the sandwich myself (not a big deal, just a bit messy). The vibes were very nice, though it is a bit cramped when you sit inside. Overall though, everything was very good! The coffee/tea alone makes it worth your time and I would definitely go back!!

201 Waters Pl Ste 102, CulpeperNice little dog friendly brewery in downtown Culpepper. The beers were solid. My favorite was the Ernst, a German pilsner. I had the five beer flight that included a Marzen, a Kolsch, a New England IPA, the Pilsner, and a dark lager. Definitely a nice range of styles.
The kitchen is pretty small, so food can be a little slow when the place is packed. Overall, definitely a nice brewery to visit. Culpepper is a nice little town and there is plenty of parking nearby.

10144 James Monroe Hwy, CulpeperVery helpful and knowledgeable, we were not expecting to find our fur baby visiting the first place we went but we are happy we stopped by this place. We met a few dogs but one of them we knew right away that we needed her just as much as she needed us. Medusa was her name but now we call her Harley Ray, and she's just as much of a part of us as we are a part of her. The staff was friendly and gave us the time we needed to make our decision. Highly recommend!
