I really appreciate how kind they are to my rescue horse, who is shy of people. I also appreciate that they know and like Morgans (because Morgans are the BEST). I know I’m in good hands with Dr Kramer and the whole team.

10271 Gordon Ave, GordonsvilleJust tried it on a Saturday afternoon and Patch Brewery is now on our list as a go to place. Not the Ritz, but for me, this place is how I like it. The beer, wine (by the bottle at the outside bar if you prefer), ciders, mixed drinks and food were great. No leftovers from us. Plenty to do inside and out with games, baseball and dog fields, at least two playgrounds, horseshoes and cornhole and... This place is pretty big. Even had a farmers market going on next to the parking lot. A clean place both inside and out offering tasty beverages and food from friendly staff. Order at the bar and pickup outside when the ringer/thingy goes off. Patrons where a mixed bag of young & old, some with kids and dogs with boundary fencing separating groups of tables. They do have an area separate from the rest for adults only on the other side of the outside bar. A little rough looking in spots like a place you might see in a marina environment or old bowling alley but kept up well, clean and very well appointed. Parking was a breeze.

Gordonsville Ice House
212 N Main St, GordonsvilleHighly recommend the Ice House if you’re in Gordonsville! The chicken is delicious, and so is everything else (except the green beans, apparently. I didn’t eat them, but my family complained about them). They were also out of butter and apple butter, which is weird.

East of Maui Coffee
512 N Main St, GordonsvilleIt’s expensive, and the service is pretty slow, but they genuinely have some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Their strawberry lemonade is really good, too. I’ve always gotten the peppermint mocha espresso frappe with whipped cream, and I highly recommend it. The basic lattes are awesome, too. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area.
