“Quaint country store in the hills above Bassett. Besides the many grocery selections, they also serve burgers & fries or hot sandwiches from the grill. Very informal, no seating. A good stop for whatever you might need, even gas. Friendly proprietors are locals who know the area and just about everyone who stops in. Highly recommend this place. We simply call it "The Country Store." Tell Judy I said hi.”

“I love going here for the NASCAR races. Plenty of places for merch. The track is easy to see the parking is not bad to get to. There is food there you can bring in snacks and drinks. Recommend going if not been.This is the place where the Hail Melon was created by Ross Chastain.”
“Stopped by on our way from Raleigh to West Virginia. My Husband and I were truly amazed by how good their food was. The chicken wings are the best and so are their chicken strips. Probably the best we have ever had. The strawberry cream cheese fried pie was superb. We enjoyed it so much we stopped on the way up and way back. Truly a gem and a must stop for excellent food!”

“Nice old country style store. Gas pumps could use an update. I went in to get some biscuits for breakfast. Only one person running the store. The lady rang me up and fix the biscuits in no time. The food was really good.”
