“This is very much a long ago 1950s type country store but lemme tell you the people working there are great and that's what makes this place 5 stars.Got gas, used the restroom, they made me laugh and I first hand got to watch them fret over one of their regulars in the most endearing way. Was actually glad I stopped. You probably won't have much cell service but thats par for the course in some spota of VA!These guys being here really saved my bacon and I am grateful!!”

“I’m a regular at the Exxon on Burks hill in Bedford and generally have a good experience. Everybody there is very friendly and helpful! However I’ve consistently run into problems with the Exxon Mobil Rewards+ program at this location.. I’ve tried several times to manage my points (add points, inquire about balance, etc) and the process is often difficult. Patricia, who’s always very kind, has assisted me several times, but she seems completely unfamiliar with the rewards system. I’ve waited quite a while (almost 20 minutes) on occasion, and I must say.. it’s a bit frustrating.. particularly when other Exxon stations handle these requests effortlessly. It would be fantastic if the employees could receive some additional training on the Exxon Mobil Rewards+ program to streamline the process for customers.”

“Such a convenient location and major plus that the pumps accept apple pay! The employees inside are humble & welcoming. The floor is orderly and has a variety of snacks. Recently added a Hunt Brothers Pizza and it is delicious and decently priced!”

“The woman at the checkout counter was very friendly. We did not use the bathroom so we cannot comment on that but the fuel fill was fast, the window squeegees had soap and worked well enough, and the real winner here was the AIR compressor station.
One of our tires was showing low pressure after the temperature dropped this weekend and normally I abhor using air stations at gas stations bc they only tend to run for 30s and then cut off requiring you to PAY AGAIN, also they don't always take credit cards. This station was NOT like that at all. I paid the $2 fee WITH MY CREDIT CARD and filled the low tire then matched all the rest and the machine *still* had NOT cut off. I wasn't messing around but it was at least 1 min or maybe 1.5min. I didnt stick around to hear it cut off but I am stoked it ran as long as it did, helping me get home safe and sound on all 4 properly inflated tires. THANK YOU!”

“Quick service. Got there just before they closed for the day needing a valve stem installed in a tire. They swiftly made the repair and had the tire inflated and loaded on my truck before I even finished paying the very inexpensive bill of $5. Definitely would recommend this business for all of your tire needs.”
