“Excellent customer service! I called LaDiff yesterday for advice on a leather recliner, and Lea (designer) went completely above and beyond. All over the phone and text, she checked inventory, provided delivery options, and sent over quotes in no time. I was incredibly impressed by how well she knew her stock and how quickly she calculated timelines for special orders. To top it off, I texted her a photo of my room, and she used an AI tool to reply with pictures of how the furniture would actually look in my space. She truly went the extra mile - highly recommend working with Lea!”

“Such a neat store to walk through and look at all the different things. Huge selection of all sorts of things, some modern, some vintage, and some antique. Some of the prices are fantastic, but some of the prices are a little steep. However, it is still a great place to go walk around and look, especially if you have time to kill.”
“A nice size place, easy to move around, good selection and a mix of furniture, notions, and some cool remade and upgraded console stereo systems. The ONLY thing that was annoying had nothing to the shop. I guess it's next a craft brew place, and as I walked to the door the smell of urine was overpowering!! The store is grear, just know you might have to hold your breath going in.”

“I have not received my chair yet, so I can comment on the excellent service I received when I went to the lazy boy store in richmond. Tatania (sp) was very personable and knowledgeable about the furniture. I was given plenty of time to test out the chair and go through all the ins and outs of a chair that actually heats and massages. Everything was explained very clearly, and I felt very welcome in the store. I received the chair in two days and I can't wait. ( I have since received the chair and it is so comfortable and nice to have in the house).”

“We bought our sofa from them on Memorial Day and they held it until July. From the second we walked in the staff was kind, accommodating and never once made us feel pressured or rushed in our decision. We ended up with the first one we tried there.
When we came to pick it up they had the whole thing wrapped up and ready for us by the door! They even helped us load it.

“Strawberry Fields just did the florals for our wedding this past weekend and boy oh boy did they knock it out of the park. They were so happy to meet us exactly where we were and to go as big or as small as we wanted and needed. They were punctual, they responded promptly always, they were so easy and fun to meet with in person. They were so kind and encouraging when they delivered our flowers the day of our wedding. And most of all they are complete and true artists with the arrangements they made for our arbors and my bouquet. My gosh, I still can’t stop dreaming about it all.”
“This is my absolute favorite store in Richmond. They sell consignments and have such a vast selection of items: purses, home, decor, handmade clothing, artwork. You name it they probably sell it. The owners, Heidi and James, are delightful people. The first time I went there was on a Sunday and Heidi stayed past closing so I could look around and of course, I made several purchases which I love. They are genuinely good people and I hope everyone in the Richmond area goes to check them out. We should all shop local and support small businesses, especially this one. I am downsizing because I am on hospice with end stage heart failure. I mentioned this to Heidi because we had a lengthy conversation while I shopped. I tried to consign some of my things at the consignment store that I purchased them from, but that place did not accept them. Heidi offered me to bring them to her and she’s going to try to sell them for me. She didn’t have to do that. I didn’t ask her to do that, but I certainly appreciate it more than she’ll ever know. So when you buy from Gracie’s Cottage, you’ll know that you’re buying from local people who show empathy, compassion, and loving kindness to others. And you will be getting adorable items. I adore this fleur-de-lis trinket box I purchased. I happen to know Gracie’s Cottage has several new fleur-de-lis items in stock. Thank you, Heidi.”

“I went here with my mom. They definitely have unique gifts and some cute clothing that you won't find elsewhere. Their clothing prices are insanely high. I would say that if the dresses etc. were made from expensive material or extremely well made they would appear to be worth the price? PERCEIVED value is definitely a thing. Things there ARE beautiful don't get me wrong and for some people money doesn't matter so if that's you or even if it's not just know that going in. Staff were nice as well.”

“This is my absolute favorite place to shop in all of Richmond! There are so many talented local artists that sell their goods in this shop. There is also an excellent mix of vintage and antique items. I could literally spend two hours in this shop just browsing. The owner, Anne, is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Nanette, who also works there, is so kind and welcoming every time I visit. What Anne has done to support the local art community, is so commendable. You can tell she truly cares about every artist that is in her shop.”

“This place is really well curated. I’ve been to few shops in the south with this level of consistency in quality and beauty. The ones I recently visited in Charleston at this level were significantly more expensive. Of course that’s Charleston money, but the point is that most of these types of places are either junky or 1%’er money.
Walking through was a breath of fresh air.

“Project 1 was our last stop in the plaza. I'm glad we didn't skip it! Project 1's offerings are a bit more contemporary (and more practical to me) compared to the other antique shops nearby. I was able to find furniture pieces that I enjoy and also are practical for what I need. They also carry a very nice line of Turkish made 100% cotton linens. The gentlemen at the front was super cheerful and friendly too!”
