“My beagle's cardiologist recommended Akina's pharmacy to formulate his heart medicine. It has been incredibly convenient and efficient to use them to fill and mail the prescription. The one time that I needed to contact them about the prescription, they were very helpful and responsive. Now, we have the prescription on automatic refill and it shows up like clockwork, with no muss and no fuss.”
“Key positive u0date. Had a prescription that my wife's doctor sent to the Walgreens we used to use. I let it ride figuring a drug is a drug. NOT only did they not have the product in stock they gave me a co-pay $50 dollars higher than Walgreens. I called my insurance company and they confirmed (as co-pay is a percentage of claimed costs) that Walgreens was over DOUBLE Ashburn pharmacy. I took the time to bother my wife's doctor who sent the prescription to Ashburn. Within an hour they had the order ready (but I had to call Walgreens to have them drop a claim fiked that they did not have in stock). Of course I told wife's doctor to just make Ashburn our preferred pharmacy. Local, friendly, responsive, quicker and significantly cheaper. Perhaps why Walgreens is a diminishing company. SHOP LOCAL.
Locally owned, locally trusted. Have to tell my story (though my 5 review only confirms what EVERYONE knows, Mo at Ashburn Pharmacy is unique. My wife needs a class A medicine (jump through hoops, 30 days at a time) that is Vyvanse that comes in generic. My insurance co-pay is over 20x my generic copay so happy to try generic. Only problem is CVS had none in stock (knowing it is difficult and that the doctor has to send prescription to specific pharmacy I always call CVS ahead of th we prescription and this time nothing within 50 Mike's (and one place had 10 days) Called insurance (AETNA) in a fit and they found Mo and Ashburn. Within two hours drug I. Hand, I believe co-pay even lower than CVS. Stay with the local. Switch to Mo and Ashburn”
“I was referred to Akina Pharmacy by my doctor who trusted them more than another compounding pharmacy she used earlier. My own experience with them has been positive, getting my prescription in a reasonable amount of time and for a price much lower than a chain pharmacy (my insurance either wouldn't pay or the co-pay was much too high). They were very helpful and friendly ( especially the lady at the front desk) - one of the pharmacists also took the time to explain the medication and dosing to me. They made it very easy to have the medication delivered to me (or pick it up, also an option).”
“Service seems to be improving in getting refills completed in a timely manner. Helpful staff, but rely largely on text communication with customers. Don't expect a live person by phone.”
“Took in my spicy cat today and they were FABULOUS with him! They gave me meds to calm him and he was way more chill than I’ve ever seen him, so it wasn’t the worst vet experience he’s ever had. They even got him into a purrito, which I’ve never been able to do. Attaching a pic of my handsome guy with Charlotte as a cute purruito! They are genuinely a great team and I wouldn’t consider taking my cats anywhere else in town.”

“I like to fill my car as early as possible to avoid long lines on the pumps but even when I come midday or at the rig hour it still takes less time than any other whole sale gas pump and the price is always cheaper! I like that this station is always clean and th pumps are never out of order which makes waiting time less than usual !plz keep it up Sams”
“This is hands-down, the best grocery store in the area. When I say that I include all the other grocery stores which also includes other Harris Teeter stores. The layout is great, the cleanliness is great. The entire shopping plaza is amazing.
John Sherman is an incredible manager. I needed some help from him this morning, and he went above and beyond for me. He is courteous and Extremely competent. Harris Teeter is lucky to have an employee like him.”

“Excellent customer service. I used to get my prescriptions from one of the larger chain pharmacies but decided to try this local community pharmacy after it was recommended by my ophthalmologist. They have consistently gone out of their way to get both myself and my spouse's prescription medications on time and have been extremely helpful when it comes to navigating insurance and payment issues. They are only open Monday through Friday but this has not posed a problem for us. The staff are fast, friendly, and professional. I really appreciate the personal touch that a locally owned business can provide.”
“I still shop here but the Internet reception is null and the wifi doesn't work for customers. So if you want to search for products or use your app to order at Starbucks or at the deli you cannot! They should fix this.”
“We visited this supermarket after work recently and were impressed by how organized and clean everything remained despite the evening crowd. Compared to other grocery stores nearby, the aisles felt easier to navigate and products stayed stocked much more consistently throughout the visit. The produce and dairy sections especially looked fresh and well-maintained. Checkout also moved efficiently, which made the trip feel far less stressful overall. Shopping here simply feels more reliable and convenient compared to several nearby alternatives, which is why we continue coming back for weekly grocery trips.”
“Tracy in the deli made me the best Italian sub I've had in years! The three cheese bread was really fresh and the cheese on top was crispy. I've had a lot of HT subs on that bread, but never realized the cheese could be crispy. She was friendly, fast and a real pro! Highly recommended!”

“My first visit to a Giant Food supermarket. They have a good variety of Gluten free, dairy free, soy free brands. Found Schar, which I haven't seen at other stores. They also have So Delicious and Glutino. I got some produce and other items to make GF, DF, soy free eating possible while I'm in Leesburg.”
“Always liked HT but our check out person gave some of our items to someone else after she said HIS payment didn't go through; an older gentleman who got pretty upset about his transaction?
Anyway, it messed up both transactions and it was kinda a mess since we just ran in to grab a few items.
Otherwise, staff was helpful and store in great shape. They gave us the HT members discount to help make up for the mess up.”

“We just had great help with the self service checkout at this Harris Teeter. Brenda saw that we were having some problems of our own making and very cheerfully and helpfully stepped in to help. After our watermelon overturned a bag, she helped us get it all off the floor and back in the cart. And when we then, absorbed with reliving our clumsiness, walked off without running our charge card, she found us in the parking lot to clear it up and signed off on our ticket — all with grace and a great smile.”

“Great local grocery chain offering most items that you'll need. The bakery is also quite good, having unique items like cornbread muffins. Pricing is generally pretty acceptable so long as you have their store discount card, but if not be prepared to pay much higher than normal pricing. Seafood is very expensive here, and meat in general could be a bit cheaper, but all in all this is a good local grocery to shop at.”
