“Great organization, impressed with the thoroughness of their process. My adoption coordinator Courtney was fantastic to work with and a great help in the decision making when it came to choosing the "right" dog. Highly encourage you to attend the weekend events they hold locally to meet all the [pets up for adoption.”

“It would be hard to overstate the benefits and value of Insight Memory Care Center, from the exceptional stimulation activities and programs to the caring, compassionate and knowledgeable staff. If you're looking for top notch adult day care tailored exclusively for people with dementia and Alzheimer's, look no further. It's the only such center in the region, but at the end of the day what makes IMCC so special is the dedication and passion of the people who work there. 5 stars!!”
“Incredibly impressive place. Gave museum a separate review. The complex is beautiful a truly wonderful reuse of a prison. The cute art studios and exhibits are an amazing public service, bravo to those that championed this. Young ladies in visitor's center couldn't have been nicer, including having to listen to be drone on about meeting Ms. Hirshhorn and having lunch with Steve Ivy :) Though I am nominally living in Texas, going to suggest visiting here to my local sister and friends interest in art. Cute place, including the nice brewery, who had to listen to me drone on about Harpoon and Dan. Not sure I will ever be back, but local folks should make sure they check this place out!”

“I would like to sincerely thank Jillian L. Franklin, M.S., CYSA, CCWS at the Vienna Community Center for her outstanding professionalism and dedication. She has always responded to my calls and emails promptly, with patience and kindness, and has taken the time to carefully listen to my concerns. Jillian consistently goes above and beyond to resolve issues efficiently and with great attention to detail.
Her support has made the process of working with the community center smooth and reassuring. It is rare to find someone so committed to both their role and the people they serve. I am very grateful for her help and highly commend her work.”
“I was just passing by and couldn't help stopping and taking a few photo shoots here. It looks amazing, a beautiful landscape with pretty and clean horses. I should join some of their events or maybe riding events.”

“A place where friendly smiles are ready to help anyone who needs clothes, shoes, kitchen stuff, baby stuff, and food. Our volunteers are ready to give you their hands.”
“I have received the best services at this facility starting from the emergency financial assistance department down to the food distribution department. All the people that work at this facility are very helpful, kind and very considerate. All the people that work at this facility also walk that extra mile to give you all the help that you need at the time. Thanks for all that you do for me! God bless!”
“We recently hosted our wedding at **American Legion Post 177 in Fairfax**, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The venue was perfect for our celebration—spacious, clean, and flexible enough to bring our vision to life. But what truly made the day exceptional was **Destiny, the Event Manager**.
Destiny went **above and beyond** to ensure everything ran smoothly. From the early planning stages to the final wrap-up, she was organized, responsive, and incredibly supportive. Her attention to detail and warm, professional demeanor made us feel at ease throughout the entire process. She played a huge part in making our day so special.
Even more impressive—**Destiny also served as our bartender**, and our guests absolutely loved her! She brought a great energy to the event, kept drinks flowing, and made everyone feel welcome and taken care of. We received so many compliments about how friendly and attentive she was.
If you're looking for a venue with heart, flexibility, and an amazing event manager like Destiny to help bring your day together, we highly recommend **American Legion Post 177**.
**Thank you again to Destiny and the entire team for helping make our brunch wedding so memorable!**”

“Wonderful folks (and their families) who have proudly served their country and continue serving their local community. Affordable social events and a great bunch of singers and live music enthusiasts who bring positive energy to everything they do. Post 130 Rocks!”
“12/14/22This past Sunday on 12/11/22 we (my wife and I) took a trip back to The Journey Church. I like how laid back they are on the dress code for Church. Dressing up to go to Sunday School/Church rubbed me the wrong way. If I wasn't comfortable in what I wore, my attention to church was nonexistent. This is when I was much younger. Still today I am glad to see Church goers wearing everyday clothing and not necessarily the monkey suit.Anyhow, after talking with the pastor for the second time, I find him very laid back and cool to talk to. In the back of my mind i wondered what could be today's lesson in church? Today's Lesson: The StormHave you ever had a personal storm in your life? Well today's lesson. Started out with how weather people...no,...meteorologist decided to name storms after women. This was later changed to men an women's name. Some of the names of selected storms have a deeper meaning than others. The lesson in short was to keep hope in what you do, because without hope, you might be battling a storm physically, mentally or both for a long time.I don't go to Church very often, but this place gives off good vibes even if I still don't know many of the people there. My wife says the main reason for being there is God. Anything else is an added bonus. I am not as into the Lord as she is, but I will say this. The music, how I feel then I am there and the history of lessons learned keep me coming back for more. I find it fascinating how things I learned in school, specifically Western/Eastern Civilization and American History had bites and peices of things I am now hearing from The Bible.I am moving at a snail's pace come paired to my wife. Yet I don't believe there is a set speed for religion. If there is, my God will have to have patience. Still, I am on a Journey of self discovery. Who knows what I will discover next week.”
“Nice friendly lodge with a reasonable annual fee, good food, a monthly breakfast open to all, Friday night dinners, weekly bingo, slots, pool tables, and weekly Texas hold em games.”
“An amazing group in the heart of Arlington. They've helped so many individuals and organizations while providing the community a great swimming pool and event center. Every year in December they have a Christmas breakfast so good that Santa Claus shows up!”
“This is an amazing place. They are so welcoming and they help out alot. Thanks to them i was able to have food at home. Thank you guys and keep up the great work.”
“Great gathering place for veterans, additive military and their families. Great events, dinners, weekend parties with bands and great food. A charitable organization, they go out of their way to help members and their families as well as all vets in need.”
“We are in Centreville and took a homeless woman to the Lamb center, as she lost her ID and needed help getting a new one. They said they could not help her. Even though we are in Fairfax County, they only help within a certain radius of where they are in Fairfax. Just FYI if you were thinking of reaching out for assistance.”
“Found some of the best items I have discovered at a thrift store here. I love that all the items are standard priced which is fair to the community and also people who thrift as a hobby. Overall the staff were great and it was easy to navigate the store. Definitely worth a visit!”
“Gun Owners of America is one of the only organizations really out there daily stopping the overreach of anti-constution, lobby bought politicians. The work they do is invaluable and every American should at the very least appreciate that. Keep fighting the good fight, I'm with you all the way.”

“We are so grateful for WAEPA and the excellent Life Insurance we have received. A huge added bonus is the scholarship they offer each year for the children of WAEPA members. Our family has been the benefit of this scholarship for both of our children and we are extremely grateful. Thank you WAEPA!”
“I have always had some luck at this goodwill. It is not the most organized Goodwill that I’ve been to in the area, but I have found some good items. Prices can be on the high side, but you just have to hunt for the deals.”
“I’ve always found some cool stuff whenever I’d come here. Some of the items are a bit overpriced but for the most part, I think it’s pretty reasonable. Their staff is very kind as well!”
“I live in md but was born in va. So getting a copy of my birth certificate is usually not easy on the fly, especially since there are still agencies closed to the public. I really needed it and it was quick and cheap. In MD it's $30 for my kids birth certificate each. VA is $12. ?. They are safe with social distancing and take your temperament at the entrance. I was done in less than 30 minutes.”
“I am so grateful to Shelter House for assisting me. They helped me erase the eviction off my credit and helped me retain transportation to get to my job in order to help me keep employment to secure housing!!”
“Awesome, awesome, awesome as always AND better than ever!
Seems like there is a new stand, a new seating area, a new something or other every time I come here!
Highly, highly recommended...”

“A small pond filled with wild life, from turtles sunbathing to ducks swimming. There is also a large single bird that hangs around here. The are has two places where you can sit and relax and a large open field if you want to have a picnic .”
