“It would be hard to overstate the benefits and value of Insight Memory Care Center, from the exceptional stimulation activities and programs to the caring, compassionate and knowledgeable staff. If you're looking for top notch adult day care tailored exclusively for people with dementia and Alzheimer's, look no further. It's the only such center in the region, but at the end of the day what makes IMCC so special is the dedication and passion of the people who work there. 5 stars!!”

My adoption coordinator Courtney was fantastic to work with and a great help in the decision making when it came to choosing the "right" dog. Highly encourage you to attend the weekend events they hold locally to meet all the [pets up for adoption.”

“As a workhouse dabbler I attended events throughout the entire year.
*The theatre is a hidden gem with quite a bit of up and coming pre professional actors. Check out the show options, they always seem to try one "kid" show a year.
*Art galleries events are fun to attend once a year. Pick one that sounds like your personality.
*They are always expanding, growing, and changing. Which can cause growing pains. But the venue is historical, and budget is based on a lot of different factors.
*If they still have the farmers market it was fantastic, and the popcorn guy was delicious.”

“12/14/22This past Sunday on 12/11/22 we (my wife and I) took a trip back to The Journey Church. I like how laid back they are on the dress code for Church. Dressing up to go to Sunday School/Church rubbed me the wrong way. If I wasn't comfortable in what I wore, my attention to church was nonexistent. This is when I was much younger. Still today I am glad to see Church goers wearing everyday clothing and not necessarily the monkey suit.Anyhow, after talking with the pastor for the second time, I find him very laid back and cool to talk to. In the back of my mind i wondered what could be today's lesson in church? Today's Lesson: The StormHave you ever had a personal storm in your life? Well today's lesson. Started out with how weather people...no,...meteorologist decided to name storms after women. This was later changed to men an women's name. Some of the names of selected storms have a deeper meaning than others. The lesson in short was to keep hope in what you do, because without hope, you might be battling a storm physically, mentally or both for a long time.I don't go to Church very often, but this place gives off good vibes even if I still don't know many of the people there. My wife says the main reason for being there is God. Anything else is an added bonus. I am not as into the Lord as she is, but I will say this. The music, how I feel then I am there and the history of lessons learned keep me coming back for more. I find it fascinating how things I learned in school, specifically Western/Eastern Civilization and American History had bites and peices of things I am now hearing from The Bible.I am moving at a snail's pace come paired to my wife. Yet I don't believe there is a set speed for religion. If there is, my God will have to have patience. Still, I am on a Journey of self discovery. Who knows what I will discover next week.”

“This is my favorite Goodwill in the the area. I find that items are more affordably priced here compared to the the Goodwills in Falls Church and Arlington. There are only few items behind the counter so even brand name items are on the floor without any special pricing. I have found Yeezys, Vejas and other high quality shoes for less than $20. Books also have a standard price $0.99 for soft covers and $1.99 for hardcovers. Furniture here is also extremely affordable. I have seen a sectional prices at $30. Can't beat it! Unfortunately I often see resellers here who hoard items into carts and pick at bins before the are put out. The store should definitely regulate this”

“Great experience in adopting a dog. All the dogs housed at the farm looked well cared for. I got the opportunity to meet Lisa, Hiedi, and Dave the day I came out to the farm to meet the dog I applied for. They were very helpful and took the time to answer all my questions. I had a great experience with the adoption process at the Humane Society of Fairfax County I would recommend them to anyone looking for a pet. They take care of all the animals there as if they were their own pets. I did not meet Noris in person but spoke with her on the phone and via email and she was also very helpful she was the first person I spoke with at HSFC. Update-I adopted another dog friend from HSFC in Oct/2022. I worked Michael and once again the experience was great!!”

“I live in md but was born in va. So getting a copy of my birth certificate is usually not easy on the fly, especially since there are still agencies closed to the public. I really needed it and it was quick and cheap. In MD it's $30 for my kids birth certificate each. VA is $12. ?. They are safe with social distancing and take your temperament at the entrance. I was done in less than 30 minutes.”
