“2 stops today, breakfast & late lunch. When traveling from Martinsville to Lynchburg this is my planned stop, come up 57 and cut across . Great BLTs & Hotdogs, other good items . Always clean & friendly. Some produce, local honey, apple butter & other local items. Carry seasonal items like fresh oysters from the coast in Nov. which a holiday tradition in some of these parts. Some hardware and auto materials Pure Brand gas, ethanol, non-ethanol, diesel. Been awhile but Roanoke TV station did a segment on their hotdogs. If you were a Moonshiners tv show fan you might see someone from the show on your visit. Open 56+ years. Low employee turnover, even had Santa there for the local kids at times. Truly a community market worth supporting no matter where you are from.”
