“I can go to the hardware, fill up with gas, and get dinner all in one place. They have great home cooked meals. Just remember their deli and grill close at 3 pm, so get there early.”

“I never NEED anything from this store, but I’m glad I can buy cheap single-use items that may or may not serve a real purpose… correctly or incorrectly. Sho even knows? If we all had real money we’d go to a mechanic or hire professionals.”

“Great looking shop. Just dropped my mowers off. Told them 1 but my other one didn't start either. Just accepted it, no complaints. It'll be awhile before they are repaired but I'm ok with that. After that I'll leave more info.”

“I have a Senco narrow crown stapler that's seen decades of use in my commercial millwork shop. Now it's retired to my garage and used only occasionally. When it failed to shoot and investigation showed broken plastic parts inside, I got Stronghold's name off the senco list and called. I talked to Mike. He listened to my description of what I saw when I opened up the tool and told me it sounded like a certain part he could send to me. He charged me about $10 for the plastic cylinder, which arrived within a week. I was able to replace it and the gun worked immediately. This kind of service is amazing to find, in my experience. It seems I had talked to not only a real person, but one who had worked on this type of tool. Thank you, Mike, and thank you Senco.”

“This is the most helpful, nice and honest business I’ve dealt with in a while. My salesperson Matt was so patient and great at getting me answers. Genesis was helpful and understanding during my short wait. And Carlos should be proud of his crew, they represent the business well. Carlos is a bit of a magician, he can make deals appear and make grumpy people smile ?Highly recommend”

“Designated parking for Vets. 10% off everything in store for Vets, unlike Home Depot which has 10% most, but not all items. Cashier was extremely cool. Worth going the extra mile or two.”

“This a particular review for Gavin, Head Cashier @ Lowe’s Gainesville VA. While I went through a difficult, arduous process trying to get a refrigerator that didn’t have a defect or damage, Gavin worked with me to exchange and upgrade refrigerators to find one that kept my food cold and didn’t have other defects. Lowe’s uses an outside contractor for deliveries which has known issues; however, in the future Lowe’s may return to an in-house delivery system. Back to Gavin, he has super professional communication skills, including listening carefully to the issues and working to find a mutually satisfying solution. I was pleasantly surprised at how at ease he is communicating with older customers. And his work ethic is amazing; whenever there is a frustrated customer, Gavin is called in to assist. He’s super busy, helpful, and kind. It makes me feel confident about the next generation if they are anything like Gavin.”

“I have been shopping at this Lowe's for about 7 years. Yesterday I had the pleasure of working with an employee who far exceeded my expectations Mr. David Corona. I'll start off by sharing a not-so-good experience shortly before David arrived: I was in the lumber section needing to buy some of the biggest and heaviest posts they sell (6x6x16') and noticed that they had parked a forklift in front of the section holding the posts. Two employees were walking by me when I flagged them down and told them I need to get two of those huge posts can you please move the forklift. One of them jumped in the forklift, backed it up, and to my shock they both just walked away leaving me to lift a 6x6x16 post by myself onto my lumber cart (mind you these posts are about 150 pounds or heavier if they are still wet). I started to try and wrestle one on my own and about 30 seconds later David Corona came walking around the corner, saw me, and immediately asked if he could help me load the lumber to which I graciously accepted! This in and of itself was excellent customer service, especially after being left by two other employees who could have easily helped me but Mr. Corona wasn't done, he insisted on staying with me the entire time as I continued to load other smaller pieces of lumber for my project - even after I told him that the smaller pieces I should be able to handle by myself - he kept with me and made it a lot faster and easier to pick out good pieces of lumber and get loaded up. He then accompanied me to check out and helped me load everything on my trailer. 5-Star A+ customer service, this guy needs a bonus or a raise - he has good character and great work ethic. Lowe's, do yourself a favor and don't let him get away - get him promoted and working up the ranks as he will be a valuable asset.”
