“I was getting a massage locally and noticed the NFCU nearby and remembered I had a check on me that I needed to deposit. I typically deposit checks via my phone, but this saved me a step. At first I thought that this was an actual bank with tellers as it was hard to see inside. However, as I got out of my car, all I could see was a stand along ATM machine inside a door. I didn't mind as using the machine is just was easy as doing an electronic deposit. So, I grabbed my check, signed the back and used my card to use the machine. Overall, easy transaction and one of the new features they have is to opt to have a printed receipt with a copy of the check printed on the receipt. I did this and got the receipt and had a small version of the check on the transaction. I thought it was pretty cool. I didn't really want the receipt, but just wanted to see what it would look like once it was printed. Kudos for a having a location that was close to me and nearby. I appreciate walking up to a machine once in a while. Are there many banks anymore with tellers? I wouldn't know, but I do appreciate the stand alone machines.”

“I personally have only had great experiences at this branch. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and with their masks you can still tell they are smiling behind them. Things that may seem to be an issue for the customer they help find the solution with such ease. They reassure and fulfill the need at hand . Even with new people coming and going the Ones who have been there for at least 5 years definitely help train the new comers to join their team with the same ethics and Charisma. I only like going to the Centreville branch location.”

Mr. Lesdy Lopez was very professional and quick with handling our problem and we left with smiles on our faces. Back a few months ago, Mr. Mohammad helped us in getting our credit card authorized for use and although we bombarded him with questions, he was also very professional and quick with giving us the answers we sought after. I'd say as long as you're not an entitled brat and realize that the employees are real people who take time to solve problems, then you'll have a great experience here.”

“This place is nice. I prefer credit unions. I stood in line. After waiting a few minutes, an employee invited me to her desk. I was able to make a deposit. I learned that NFCU uses Zelle (similar to Paypal, but free & instant). The employee showed me how to sign up for Zelle. You can sign up on your phone. You can choose which account you want to deposit money into. The staff had little media pads for kids. They were a hit. I like having the convenience of being able to make deposits by phone with the NFCU app, if I don't want to drive to a branch.”

“I went in without an appointment to inquire about business checking & credit. The branch manager, Rita, was present and able to help me on the spot. Another employee that had only met me once before recognized me and greeted me with a smile. We set an appointment for the following day, and Rita guided me through the process and doing a lot of leg work updating my account, creating a new one, synchronizing them, giving advice and informing me of complimentary services they offer. She was also very friendly and personable”

“I came in here to make a deposit today, and this branch was conveniently located to an office where I had a meeting earlier. I am seeing more and more of these branches lately, whereas before I only knew of 2 locations in Springfield and Annandale. Every single time I've always had an uneventful and easy experience. I have an account at a different bank which has been the opposite experience, and I think that their problem is that they are trying to be too modern with their silly cafes and whatnot. That is not the case with this bank. It is definitely more of a traditional back which I appreciate.”
