“They solved my suit problem! Very nice personnel and lovely cloths.Yet, Banana Republic is very expensive except for the few days when everything is -40% (on those days I have had harder time getting help). Without this pricing craziness, 5 starts.. The sale makes all previous purchases feel bad. Hence, I might not shop here again due to that. However, I am very happy with my suits and for an urgent need I can recommend.”

“Kayla, in the Cville, Va. store went above and beyond normal employee’s standards. I asked about a dress on a mannequin display and she searched all over the store to make sure that it was indeed the last one. Because the mannequin was located up high, I didn’t expect that anyone would be available to take the dress off the display right away. Kayla took the time to make it happen for me- I bought the dress- and was very impressed with her customer service.She’s def a star employee.”

“This is a cute boutique and I wish we had more shops like it on the Corner. They primarily carry women's clothing but also have fun trinkets and decor in stock. A lot of their items are UVa/Charlottesville themed -- make great gifts for friends! Some of their items can be a bit pricey, but they do have great sales and a wide selection -- I have come in for formal dresses and for oversized tees. I have found the staff very friendly in my experiences here! When I ask questions they are quick to help, and they always say something nice when you leave the dressing rooms in a new outfit. There are finches in the store like other reviews have said, but I think to say that that is unethical is a misconception. The birds have a cage large enough for them to move and fly about in, it is stocked with toys and food. I have seen staff (maybe the owner) interact with the birds while I am shopping, so they are given attention. I have seen no signs of aggression in my many, MANY moments watching the birds while friends browse the store, meaning they are likely well socialized. Overall I think this is a cute place to stop, especially for students already near the Corner.”

“My suit wasn’t tailored in the timeframe I needed. They dropped the ball a couple times. However, not only did they refund the full amount, but they wanted me to keep the custom suit. It’s been a rough few months for me, and this really was a blessing. Amazing customer service and accountability today. At a loss for words, except for GRATEFUL.”

“On November 3, 2023, I decided to visit Jos A. Bank to purchase a suit for a event. The staff and manager made me feel welcomed and helped me pick out a wonderful suit and a few shirts and ties. I have to say that I was very pleased with their service and staff. O yea; I forgot his name, but there was a smaller build, black gentlemen who was really good at picking out color coordination's, and was very up-to-date on the current styles. Thanks!!”
