The HT at Greenbriar on the other hand was cold shouldered and made me feel unwelcome, with the exception of ONE out of all the others. With Orchard Square, I enjoy the friendly smiles and genuine helpfulness. Two cashiers especially come in mind for their friendliness and professionalism, Miss Cheryl ,who I often see at self checkout, asks how I am and is always a well wisher. “Chesapeake Rx is an extension of Chesapeake Regional Healthcare system. It's a pharmacy with basic healthcare items that also administers vaccines, located at the end of the shopping strip with the Food Lion. We normally get vaccinated on military installations, just to keep all our records in one place since we move around. However, the military doesn't seem to have a consistent inventory of the particular vaccination we are looking for, so I found the Chesapeake Rx location on the vaccines.gov. They were the only ones in our area that had the particular vaccine AND who would also administer it to children under 12 (pharmacies like Walgreens will not administer it to children under 12, so look out for that when booking appointments FYI). I scheduled an appointment in advance and the staff member was kind and answered all of my questions.The morning of, which was yesterday, however, one of their nurses called me about an hour before the appointment and notified me that the order they had placed did not come in. The supplier had shipped them a different vaccine for children. We were already on our way, so my husband and I got ours. The nurse was the same one who had called and she was super nice and very apologetic. She was very gentle in administering the vaccine as well, as I HATE needles.The process is pretty quick. You have a one page form to fill out (only top portion, then sign at the bottom) and they will submit it to the Department of Health. She was also kind enough to fax over the vaccine record to my military home clinic. She gave me the carbon copy though so I could have it and also filled out my vaccination card. Notes:- they only schedule appointments for vaccinations on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. They go up until 5:30 so you can bring them after school if time is an issue. The pharmacy is very clean and quiet. The inventory for retail items are very sparse, but probably best suited for impulse purchases while picking up your prescription. They have the small private room in the corner to administer the vaccination.She said that she would give me a call as soon as the right vaccine comes in for the kids, so looking forward to going back and getting it done!Stay safe, Friends!”
“They're always busy, but somehow the folks inside are still available and willing to help out when there's an item missing from the shelves and has to be forklifted from the rafters. Are the prices better than non-wholesale? Not often, but it's more convenient to buy bulk in some products than others.
There are deals to be had all the time if you keep an eye out.”
“The staff at the Walmart Pharmacy on Cedar Rd in Chesapeake VA is phenomenal. Namely, Karen. My endocrinologist kept making mistakes for me to fill my prescription for a One Touch monitor kit. This went on for 2 WEEKS. Karen and I worked together to try to guide the incompetent staff at the drs office. I had to call Aetna, my insurance carrier to get them to intervene. I had been without my monitor for 2 weeks but the drs office Endocrinologist Consultants couldn’t care less. I finally had to lose my temper and file a grievance with Aetna in order to get it resolved. My bp was through the roof. Today. After 2 weeks I finally received my monitor. I cannot talk enough about Walmart Pharmacy and the professionalism and friendly staff who kept me updated on what needed to be done. Karen was so understanding and helpful. I will never change my pharmacy to anything else. Thank you Karen and Walmart.”
“So this is my first time in this Walmart since the mass shooting occurred back in November 22, 2022. It was reopened following a ceremony to thank the community for their support, and to honor the victims and survivors. I did not take any pictures. I will say, it was completely redone the best way it could. There are a lot more self checkouts. They seemed to have a better and greater selection of clothes for the whole family. Their food section was great to be honest. They had a good amount of organics. However, they were out of some fresh herbs that I needed. I was in the makeup section and needed some items in the glass case. I alerted an employer and within minutes had someone there to open it for me. Checkout was pretty easy to operate. I had a question and an employee was nice enough to help. If I had to come back here again I probably wouldn't hesitate if in the area. I still prefer my neighborhood "Grassfield Walmart" above all.”

Plus, the occasional joke here and there was great! don’t be alarmed when you walk in and you see the pharmacy. The restaurant is in the back corner to the left. There’s a bar top and a couple of booths.”

“I had a bad experience at the pharmacy a couple of weeks of ago , and I was frustrated because no one was trying to give me answers, I felt like I was being treated unfairly. I guess one of the pharmacy techs Nyasya could see the dissatisfaction on my face so she stepped in and went above and beyond to help rectify the situation. Nyasya was professional and you can tell that she is dedicated to her job. Her customer service is a 10 out of 10, because of her I will be continuing to use this Walmart for my medication needs.”

“Very convenient location. Employees are always very helpful and courteous. Every time that I have been to this HT location and needed to find an item before I could ask out loud an employee was there ensuring that I was finding all of the items that I needed. Many times I've found items at HT that I could not find at any other grocery store in the area. I LOVE the salad bar and the hot food bars here. The food is always fresh and items are always stocked. There is ample parking and no shortage of happy helpful employees. Happy Shopping Yeeps!!!”

I have not experienced this since COVID, big crowds, but the flow was very calk and pleasant. Sam's Club was very well-stocked with choices in all categories. Even though I went for drinks, the selection of fruits and vegetables was so fresh that I restocked them too. I love”

“Sam's club is packed with everything from office supplies, home goods, garden, outdoor, beach/pool, clothes, shoes, pharmacy, glasses, bakery, groceries, rotisserie chickens, technology and more! The store is clean and the staff is friendly! We always stop at the snack bar for the biggest piece of pizza and drink for under $3 and frozen yogurts! You can feed 4 people for $15 can't beat that anywhere else!”

“Walking down the by the registers,my daughter,and I ,were greeted with a friendly smile,and vocally by a sweet young lady.I made an effort to get in her line when checking out.She was just as cheery,and sunny as prior.Her tag said Christine.I left a package at the register,she came running after us with it.This little sweetheart is an asset to your store,and deserves your appreciation.
I said all this in light of the experience I had in your store in 2020 with a sorry excuse for a security team member that accused me of shoplifting thru the self checkout,when I was still holding the receipt,and change from the transaction.I wouldn’t have been so torqued if he had apologized,when he found he was wrong,but no,he blamed it on his monitor.Thus,with no apology,I called your home office,and your manager called me shortly thereafter,and rectified things.
Thus,I ask to let Christine know she is appreciated,and she’s a definite asset to you all.”
