“My husband and I choose to come to Godwin Pharmacy and pay full price generic then to go to the chain Rxs and be treated like a number. What you are getting here is attention, friendliness and professionalism. We are not sheeple and love the fact that we can choose Dr Patel and his staff. We are so happy that he is in our neighborhood!”

“I recently had to switch my medications from Walgreens to Walmart because of insurance changes with the company I work for. My insurance doesn’t let Walgreens cover my usually 90 days supplies anymore and I had to find a Pharmacy that my insurance works with. Anyways…the transfer was easy and as painless as possible. The staff at this location were way nicer than the Walgreens I was going to.”

“I have been with Kroger Pharmacy on University for years. I changed health insurance plans for 2025 and Kroger is not in their network?. I'm hating this. Kroger always have my medications at decent prices, always on time, and the people are nice. I'm not happy with leaving them to go somewhere. ???. Had I known I would have never chosen this new insurance. I will miss your services.”

“Pharmacies all over are under resourced. The stress is palpable everywhe else. The pharmacists & staff here are the exception. They know me. They're compassionate, diligent, and clearly care about patient health. Top Notch. Thanks ya'll.”

“Definitely the best grocery store in this section of Suffolk (although I haven't been to the Food Lion on Godwin--I'll have to make a trip over there soon). They have a decent selection of organic and healthy items. Check out is usually slow because they don't have many cashiers working--at least whenever I go.”

“The staff here seem to genuinely like their jobs and helping people. They fill prescriptions in a timely manner. They are also convenient for seasonal vaccines that are not stocked at my doctor’s office.”

“The bakery is absolutely outstanding!!!! Jernice and Jennifer were amazing! Jernice went out of her way to make sure our son got his donuts for his school birthday even when the oven broke. She added custom sprinkles. Jennifer found me a cookie cake, when they were completely out and decorated it beautifully while still frozen! It held up too! Update! Just picked up my cakes that Moe made and she did an absolutely fantastic job. She even made sure the barcodes were on top so the cake didn't get messed up when checking out, and she took my cardt back to load the cakes for me. I highly recommend this bakery because these bakers really are fantastic and go above and beyond!”

“I love CVS! Like I really do! I love that I am a rewards member! As a member, I receive rewards like every week. From coupons via mail to via email. This store, company, can do no wrong in my eyes! I visited as recently as yesterday to redeem some $ rewards and use my 40% coupon. This visit, I purchased batteries and a few toiletries. I even picked up some holiday socks for myself and the ladies in my family :) The employees are pleasant as well. The young lady, most recently was really sweet! Now, I have no experience in the pharmacy area... I actually don't know where it's located. I've seen signs for it, but never had a need to visit. They do have a drive-thru, which I am sure is convenient for the patrons. I love the make-up area, but my favorite is to check out the novelties they have each holiday season. (my socks were Christmas socks) If you have not signed up to receive rewards, please do so! This is the only CVS in the area, but I visit at least once a week and it's always a great time! Have fun and enjoy life :)”

“Came here for passport photos with the family. Quick easy process. Staff is friendly and it is a typical drugstore. The only reason I did not rate 5 stars is because their website advertises a coupon for passport photos through Oct 22nd however instead of checking the associate just says she can't do it. Doesn't look at the coupon or attempt to find a way. The coupon says in store only and says to present code to photo associate. Nonetheless it doesn't stop me from completing the task I came to do but some training needs to happen somewhere. I'll still be back whenever I need to grab items.”

“As far as Walgreens go it's decent because it's bigger and spread out in a little bit roomier but they don't have quite as much of a variety of products and things that they could have with that size of the store so it's a little frustrating”

“We were having a major issue getting my husbands medication filled. Essence went over and beyond to help us solve the problem and get the medication. All the people in the pharmacy work so hard. Dealing with all the insurance companies they have to deal with is such a nuisance. We are so grateful for this pharmacy being close to home and all the employees that work there.”

“Even though Michael is amazing with Customers he often takes too much time when working the drive thru. Over the past 2 years that Ive been visiting this location, I have seen a great change with the Pharmacy Staff for the betterment. I hope this continues. It appears that they have worked hard to turn the department around giving Customers the sometimes needed kindness. Thank you!”

“I always get prompt and courteous service from CVS when picking up prescriptions and in keeping my vaccinations up to date! They are very busy but I rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes. Their photo service is also very efficient and inexpensive. Being a UPS drop off point is also a great convenience.”
