“Visiting Sandbridge, my Nephew bought me to Harris Teeter, a very nice, clean supermarket. I needed to get some items from the produce dept. Was pleased to find fresh dill, scallions,everything looked very fresh in each department. Prices were reasonable, no issues there. Their checkout was completely different from what I am use too. You leave your shopping cart with the checkout person, then you go to the other side to pay and get your bags.”
“Harris Teeter is my go to place. Well, some may think it’s a little expensive, there’s good quality plus savings on gas, which is very important these days. Their private label, HT traders, is one of the best I’ve come across.”

“There is so much variety in fresh and ready to consume foods, along with prepackaged items here. The salad bar was loaded with variety. Fresh fruits and vegetables are abundant, as are baked goods. Plenty of parking and a convenient location add to this store's appeal.”

If the management at HT on Ferrell reads this, then give that man some praise, he deserves it!”
“The store is clean, everything is fresh . The cashier and bagger are nice. However, few days ago, I had a disappointing experience with Sandie, the Assistant Customer Service Manager. I attempted to return two items totaling less than $10, but I did not have the receipt.
Instead of first checking the items or seeing what options might be available, Sandie firmly stated that she could not process the return because I didn’t have a receipt. I understand that there are return policies, but I felt the situation was handled too quickly and without consideration of the specific circumstances.
For such a small return, I would have appreciated a more helpful and customer-focused approach, such as checking the items and explaining what options were available before simply denying the request. I hope management can review how situations like this are handled so customers feel respected and heard.”

“When we got new insurance, we chose to transfer our prescriptions from Walgreens on Shore Dr to Harris Teeter on Great Neck Rd. And we are SO grateful that we did! This staff is so helpful, so pleasant, and most importantly, timely. After 4 months, this change has been a blessing to us. For seniors with lots of meds, many of which require careful and timely dispense, our experience with HT has been a wonderful experience! This sounds like a paid review, but it is not! We are just SO appreciative for their professionalism!”

“I’ve had my prescriptions filled here for several years now. The personal service is exceptional. I live in the Eastern Shore, so as a convenience, they mail my prescriptions directly to me, often at a price significantly cheaper than the box pharmacies. I highly recommend!!!”
“I was always a Harris Teeter fan since they first opened a store in the area. I am closer to another store but mostly choose this store for a main thing, their customer service. All Harris Teeter's are high quality, but the VB Courthouse one rarely disappoints and is my go-to one. Here is one example.
On 7/12 I visited the store for a few things. I observed a customer pick out a bucket of chicken, my opinion, the best fried chicken. As she walked by the deli, Chuck was bringing out a fresh batch of chicken. Chuck paused and offered the customer to exchange the bucket she grabbed for one of the fresh ones. The customer looked surprised Chuck did that, and gladly accepted the offer. I was not surprised Chuck did that because a month ago, Chuck did the same for me. That is an example of the definition of Customer service.
I hope HT personally acknowledges Chuck's quality service and uses his example as a teaching moment to all of HT stores.”
“My experience at this food lion is one to be remembered, I received a ton of help and an employee named Ashton I think was very patient and very kind. Hands down the best and only Food Lion I will be shopping at from now on. The quality was standout and the salad bar was better than some restaurants. Usually i do not go to food lions because they are poorly ran but this one is different and it will have my service for years to come.”
“These stars are directed towards the bakery department.(I think, from what I saw on her name tag) Kira, who might have been the bakery department manager was so kind, helpful, compassionate and accommodating. I noticed all the 30 count cupcakes were all white icing with light sprinkles and was hoping for more colorful options like they typically offer. She explained the current available in store options (not special ordered) and most likely saw the huge disappointment on my face. She offered to decorate a set with color, which was done expeditiously. I was absolutely thrilled and touched that she took the time to accommodate me, which was not demanded nor expected. She saw the opportunity to brighten a customer's day and she most definitely did! Kira, is an individual that a business should be very proud and honored to have. She exemplifies how excellent customer service should look. She listened, explained, understood me and made me feel seen and valued as a customer. I truly do appreciate her kindness and time and am very thankful & grateful. :-)Her willingness to help did not go unnoticed. For future reference, I now know to special order if I have my heart set on something colorful, rather than take a risk of possible disappointment. ;-)”

“Being from the birthplace of Kroger (Cincinnati) I’m so glad there is one here that I can shop regularly at! Lashanda is the BEST, always friendly, and always encouraging everyone she talks to. I love coming here and seeing her. I also love the kid with long dark hair and glasses who is always restocking stuff - no matter what this kid always asks me if I need anything. Such a sweetheart. Employees are quick to assist at self checkout. My only qualm is that the new geo-locating technology on the carts malfunction 9/10 times when I am halfway to my car in the middle of their parking lot. I have even had to stop an elderly lady from trying to pick up her cart and hurt herself. I’d love to see some initiative in leadership to get this fixed. I’ve called a few times to let them know it’s a problem, but I don’t know if they are doing anything. Anyways, long live Kroger!”

“Amy is the Pharmacist and she is very knowledgeable. She answers all of my questions and I always have them. She knows my medication’s and my conditions by heart, it seems.
My doctor gave me a prescription for a new medication and I was worried about it. Amy explained everything about the medication, what it does and what it is used for, as well as the side effects. She answered all of my questions and I left feeling confident.
All of her crew are very friendly and helpful as well. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. john”

“I had to use this pharmacy on a holiday as our usual was closed. I was shocked that they were open. The pharmacy tech (I can't remember his name, a young man with glasses if I remember correctly. He may not have had glasses though but he was the youngest there) was so pleasant and swiftly filled the prescriptions my daughter needed ASAP. He understood we needed the cheapest OTC option as we couldn't afford the one the doctor suggested. He helped us find the right one and also reran our insurance to make sure one of the prescriptions that was said to not be covered actually was! I almost want to switch to this pharmacy because of this interaction but our local CVS is closer. Please give praise to your pharmacy tech as he was simply amazing!”

“I recently stopped by Walgreens and had a pretty good experience overall. The store was clean, organized, and easy to shop through. I was able to quickly find most of the items I needed, and the employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The pharmacy area seemed busy, but the staff still did a good job keeping things moving and answering questions professionally.
One thing I appreciated was the convenience. Walgreens carries a little bit of everything — prescriptions, snacks, household items, beauty products, and seasonal merchandise — which makes it easy to make one stop instead of driving all over town.”

“I had placed several fruit and vegetable items in my cart but needed white grape juice for my wife. We don't normally purchase it and I was in an aisle with drinks looking. An employee stocking shelves in that aisle directed me to aisle 8. Moments later, as I was searching, he walked over from aisle 3 and showed me exactly where it was located. I'm sure I would have eventually found it, but he took the time to ensure I found what I needed. Super helpful!”
