I got a BOGO today (7/28/2026) on an 8 pack of Gatorade. Gatorade is salt and flavored sugar water.
Gatorade was invented by a University of Florida Professor to beat the heat. It replaces salts lost in sweat from heat, work and exercise. Essential for troops who work in the heat. Also beneficial for hydration when you are sick.
HT-Harris Teeter store brands are pretty good and sold at a discount.
There are fewer homeless people around this store compared to other stores in the area. Convenient for military at NAVSTA and JEB.”

“We had our prescriptions at Rite Aid until they went out of business. They transferred our prescriptions to CVS. That was a total nightmare. The staff was not friendly and it took forever to get the prescriptions filled. I transferred our prescriptions to Costco Pharmacy and it couldn’t have been nicer. The staff is very friendly and the service was fast. The best experience I have ever had with a pharmacy.”

“Not typically a review person, especially with pharmacies because let’s be honest, all pharmacies seem to have issues. Politely, they suck lately. I hate going to the pharmacy, but I have chronic illnesses and a few different medications, one that’s not very common and I’ve had so many issues with past pharmacies having difficulty ordering it, them forgetting to order it, even though I would call them a week in advance (for years. I’ve been on this heart medication for YEARS).
This pharmacy is blowing my mind with how kind they are, with the pharmacists and pharmacy techs so knowledgeable and willing to help. I won’t go into all the details, but I was trying to figure out if my increase in symptoms were worsening due to a change in my medication manufacturer. Kristen was helping me go through all the possibilities, checking reviews and reports online, even knew about my conditions…even half the physical therapists I work with have never heard of my conditions.
When I found out my Walgreens wasn’t going to accept my new insurance anymore, which after a week of calling wondering why my medication wasn’t being filled, they I guess weren’t going to inform me until I called for the third time. I went into this CVS almost in tears because at this point I was out of medication thanks to Walgreens lack of communication, and whoever the pharmacy tech was at that time got it done and filled in less than an hour, not making me feel like an inconvenience or a burden. I just want you all to know how much I appreciate you.”

Not sure what the other reviewer is talking about with parking. There's plenty. There is a parking garage attached to the same building as this Walgreens. Just don't park in resident parking. They are strict about the 2 hour limit though. If you need more time than two hours, pass the parking garage entrance and park on Omohundo drive. There's no time limit. If by some crazy measure, Omohundro street parking is full then park on 20th street, before Jessys. There's a parking lot and plenty of unrestricted street parking.”
“The employees are helpful and very nice. I had fell outside the store. They came out to help me. The pharmacist even came out to check on me. Stayed with me until the almanbance came and got me. I hit my head on the sidewalk and slide down it.”
“Team was very professional, the shop was very busy during Black Friday weekend. I did encounter a miscommunication about my spare tire, they quickly addressed it and were very kind in getting the correction fixed. Very thankful and impressed with the service.”

“The techs and pharmacists at N Military Hgwy Walgreens pharmacy are the best. I have been getting scripts filled there for years and they are always helpful and very patient. They go out of their way to help you and navigate through any problems that might arise, as we all know the medical system isn't always smooth and is very busy. “I had a wonderful experience today with the woman in the flower department. I was in tears breaking down on the phone with a friend of mine because I was there to pick out flowers for my sister’s headstone, today being the anniversary of her passing. The woman was so kind and considerate. Beautifully wrapped her Bouquet helped me pick out a card and was just extremely kind and thoughtful through the whole encounter. I really regret not getting her name, but she will always be in my prayers. I couldn’t have asked for better customer service at such a difficult time.”
