4640 Chester Square Rd, ChesterToday was my first experience with this veterinary hospital. I arrived early and was greeted kindly. The visit itself was smooth and they took great care of my fur babies. Unfortunately, they do not accept care credit as a form of payment… As a young adult with 4 animals.. that is something that is a huge need for me when choosing vet clinics (I should have asked on the phone before scheduling). This is not their fault of course but just sad that I will probably look elsewhere due to this. If you do not have the need to use CareCredit for these visits, I would highly recommend this practice. They are very reasonable priced and affordable. Every animal that came in seemed happy to be there and the staff seemed to enjoy their job and being around animals.

Definitely a change from other clubs. The beer was good and I'm not a beer drinker. They had wine too. I will try the wine next time. Now I know why the parking lot is packed when I pass by in my car. Im glad I finally gave it a try.

Ashton Creek Vineyard
14501 Jefferson Davis Hwy, ChesterI feel so lucky to live to close to such an exceptional vineyard. I haven’t had a drop of wine or bite of food that hasn’t surpassed every expectation. Ashton Creek rivals any vineyard that exists in the Charlottesville area. Their mission of supporting local ASPCA and shelters just makes it that much more meaningful.
If you do get lucky enough to try this venue, I highly recommend anything… my favorites being the Bailey’s Bold (red), Willie’s white or traminette (still and sparkling whites) or the lady may. Check out their seasonal sushi offering and seasonal cocktails, and while all the food is some of the most delicious fare I’ve had in Virginia, the yardbird sandwich and crab dip are two of my favorites.
I can’t say enough good things about this vineyard. It’s such a treat.

We tried the Alligator Bites for the first time and the were amazing as an appetizer it's definitely something that you have to try. The Ambiance and Atmosphere is always great. We went before Christmas and the staff is always attentive. If you need to book an event always book with Debbie she is the Event Coordinator and she truly Sweet and Patient. They have a back room to accommodate a larger group which is always decorated very nice with a TV. The food is always fresh and portioned good I always have some to take home.

12744 Jefferson Davis Hwy, ChesterThis place is a hometown favorite. The waitresses work hard to serve you. It's a small diner experience so sometimes you may have to wait but the wait is worth it. They are known for their ribs and run out quickly so make sure you get there in time. They also do a good job with their corned beef. I personally like the sandwiches that have pastrami or corned beef on it sometimes I'll order a Reuben. I also get a plate of fries to share with my company. This is not fine dining but you will enjoy yourself in this small shopping strip.

The blackened chicken primavera was the best I have had in many years, the pizza is really good, dough is crispy on the edges with wonderful yummy toppings. Ambiance is family friendly, and cozy.
