Our pup did great in puppy classes, but when he started exhibiting unwanted behaviors during basic training classes, we worked with Kasey 1:1 and couldn’t be more thankful for her help. We’ve learned the obedience, but the biggest help has been learning to shape his behavior and mindset to be a calmer and more secure dog. He would not be flourishing now without her help.
I also appreciate the flexibility in making up classes if you miss one, the experiences with play groups and pack walks, and always being approachable and accessible for questions. The team’s passion is unmatched. 10/10, highly recommend.

It's a comfortable and subdued environment with TVs playing silently above the bar along the wall leading to the kitchen. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I always order milk as my beverage, which, I admit, is uncommon. They delivered on the generous side with a full 20 oz glass!
For the meal I had the carne asada tacos and my wife had the Chicken Avocado Tacos. Mine were great. Hers were fantastic. In fact, I went back on my own and had the Chicken Avocado tacos on a separate trip! We've been back together once, and the repeat trip was just as good. I heartily recommend Lalo's.

Simon, behind the counter, was super helpful and hospitable and held my hand, walking me through the different types of empanadas and doing baked to order versus ready from holder. My wife and I shared the Tropical Curry, the Beef, Beef and Cheese, the Chicken and Cilantro, Pork Chimmichurri, and the Apple Cinnamon. We really struggled to pick just one favorite, they all offered something different and all were tasty and well prepared. For me personally I think my favorite was the Tropical Curry the balance of flavors, the sweet and spicy element. But yes, the staff, the food, and the space are all so good. 10/10 would and will be going back!

3950 Westerre Pkwy, HenricoWe stayed here last minute one night. Check in was easy. The lobby was open and clean. Our room was fine and I liked the balcony! There is an indoor pool but no hot tub. The staff was friendly during my stay. The shower was cold is my only complaint. I let it run more than 5 minutes to see if that would help and ended up just having to jump in and shiver. It never got beyond lukewarm. There is no free breakfast but there was complimentary coffee and some nearby breakfast restaurants. It seemed safe to park outside the hotel. Overall a good choice for hotel except the cold shower.

There were five of us, and we were pleasantly surprised that we only had to wait a few minutes to be seated. Even better, the food came out quickly, which is always a plus when you’re dining with a group. The service was great throughout—attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
As for the food, everything we ordered was really good. I had the Thai chicken cashew nut dish, and it was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. My daughter ordered a sushi roll with tempura shrimp along with dumplings, and she absolutely loved both. It’s always a win when everyone at the table enjoys their meal. The prices were reasonable.
Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. Good food, great service, and a fun, lively atmosphere. Definitely a place I’d come back to again.

Habanero Mexican Grill
9101 A Quioccasin Rd, HenricoHabanero Mexican Grill is fantastic. The woman working the front counter was extremely friendly and helpful, and she served up some of the best street tacos I’ve had in a long time here in Richmond, Virginia. The tacos came with cilantro, onion, and a great green sauce and without me even asking, she somehow read my mind and added grilled onions and a grilled jalapeño slice on the side.
The salsa had just the right amount of heat and flavor. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. If I had one small gripe, it would be that I wish there were a table or two inside for eating on colder days like today, but don’t let that deter you. There is outdoor seating when the weather is nice, and honestly, the food tastes just as good in the car or at home.
I even doubled back and went inside again just to thank her in person and let her know how great everything was.
