Everyone was vey nice and cheerful. Dr Garner was wonderful, she took her time and explained everything. Millie left with her tail wagging!

Short Pump Animal Hospital
4730 Pouncey Tract Road, Glen AllenI took Suga to Short Pump Animal Hospital yesterday to get her shots updated after our previous vet closed, and we felt welcome from the moment we walked in. The doctor, his assistant, and the whole staff were so warm and friendly. Suga felt right at home she didn’t even bark!
On our way out, Suga did leave them a little surprise on the floor. I asked for a doggy bag, but the staff kindly cleaned it up for us. They also recommended a groomer we’re excited to try.
We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Short Pump Animal Hospital, for treating us like family from the start! 🐾

Sumo Sushi Express
1090 Virginia Center Parkway, Glen AllenI went to Publix for sushi but wasn't feeling what they had available, so I sat in the parking lot searching Google Maps for a local spot close to home. Sumo Sushi Express popped up less than 5 minutes away, so I decided to give it a shot.
The place looks unassuming and no-frills, but the sushi was absolutely delicious and made fresh to order. A total hidden gem! I will definitely be back.

4028 Cox Road, Glen AllenMy wife and I drove 2 hours today to eat at Joey's for the first time. The outside and inside decoration of the store catches your attention! Has that old timey feel to it! Awesome dogs!! Ordered 2 dogs, all the way with slaw added. All the way is with mustard, onions and chili. Outstanding! They also have excellent sides. We ordered the macaroni salad and the redskin potato salad. Made fresh daily. You have to stop in and try them. You won't be disappointed. Amazing folks too! We met Joey and Joey Jr. Great people. It's always good to support family run businesses with great food and hospitality. We will be back!

This is their production facility and taproom, and they have second taproom nearby that has all of the games and party space, which people confuse constantly. We also had the chicken popcorn, coffee and chia. It was all delicious!!! And the service is superb! I would eat here every time I'm in the area.

11008 Washington Hwy, Glen AllenWe stayed at James River Cellars as a Harvest Host Guest and had a great visit. The winery has multiple seating areas both indoor and on their patio, plus a nice bar area. One of the highlights of our visit were the employees! They were so friendly and welcoming to us throughout our time there. We started off with a couple flights of their wine to sample what we liked. The wines range from sweeter whites to a couple drier reds. Following a tasting of a few other selections at the bar we decided on one bottle (Rad Red) to share at an indoor table and also grabbed a bottle to enjoy at our camper. We brought our own snacks to enjoy with our wine. It was a relaxing and enjoyable visit.

The cheesesteak was cooked perfectly, and the fries were crispy and delicious. Me and my BF came to visit a kitten and decided to adopt he had all his vaccines and was given a free neuter with their program, it saved a bunch for us to pay for and we are forever grateful.
