“Very nice people to work with you. Always able to help when needed. This last time at the shop...I was pleasantly surprised that Nathan and Charlie Taylor, plus others I don't know their names....they took care of us like family. We had so much wrong with our car plus money was an issue too. They worked to get it fixed temporarily until funds can be reached fir the total care of our car. You don't expect a big business to work with you but they do here at Shelor Motormile. However don't expect to be treated good by them unless you are willing to be nice to them. Too many people get mad at mechanics for not fixing their vehicles under their(yours) rules. Being hateful, rude, etc...gets you no where with anyone. Kindness, understanding, patience, etc... goes along way if you allow yourself to be humble and kind. Try it some day...see what happens when your nice...things get done and you are happy with your results. Just my opinion on how if we put our good...we get good in return. Think about it.”
“My 2005 Honda Civic bumper got damaged in the snow and rip out part of the center and splash guards underneath. Took my car to them and they fix it within 3 to 4 days. They done a fantastic job. The bumper looks great and the paint looks fantastic. They also put on all the splash guards I needed underneath. Highly recommend this company. A+ on the work and time of repair.”

“Would definitely take the time to leave a good review! Morgan answered all my partner’s questions over the phone and encouraged us to bring our car in so they could check it out. When we arrived, Jeremy (the location manager) greeted us right away and confidently said, “We can take care of this.” He took our keys and, in about 30 minutes, our front molding/cladding was completely fixed—no hassle, no issues at all.

“I live in South Eastern Virginia and they had a part for my vehicle that has long been out of production and that I could not find almost anywhere. I gave them a call. They answered to the phone promptly. Confirmed they have the part on hand and would happily ship it to my door.

“I needed a battery replaced in my automobile. They looked up the correct battery and installed it in about 15 minutes. What a great place to do business with. And the price was reasonable.
I stopped by your store week and a lasr week with my engine light on. The gentleman come out, scanned the system and said I needed a fuel cap which was installed. I was told it takes about a week for the engine light to go out and if it doesn’t go out, come back and maybe something else the gentleman was very kind and knowledgeable. I stopped back today. The light is still on. I explained that to another gentleman and he told me they do not reset engine lights go somewhere else to have my vehicle serviced. What a shock.”

“This is more than a post, it’s a story. My wife and I were headed on I-81 north from Tennessee to New York in our 77 VW bus with a Subaru engine conversion to catch a flight out of New York the following day, when the thing absolutely died at 9:00 pm and had to pull off on the side of the interstate. First shout out to goes to a young woman with VDOT who pulled up behind us within minutes and offered to help. Seeing that we needed a tow and a good mechanic she recommended OB who operates Mullins Auto Body and More in Christiansburg, VA about 20 miles south of where we were. We called him immediately while waiting for our roadside service to send us a tow truck and he told us that he would get us back on the road even the same night. I was a bit skeptical since we were sitting on the side of road after 9:00 pm, but within the hour, his partner Travis arrived with a flatbed trailer ready to tow us back to their shop since our roadside service had not responded. Arriving at his shop after 11:00 pm, they started immediately and systematically diagnosing our engine trouble in a 77 VW and a completely different engine conversion. Fast forward three hours later they had diagnosed and fixed the mystery electrical problem and had us back on the road. I’ve been driving for nearly 60 years and I have never had two mechanics working on my car at 1:00 am. And on top of that, charging me prices that look more like 20 years ago. With real thanks and gratitude I give them only 5 stars because you can’t give more than that.”

“A stranger at my hotel pointed out that I had a taillight out. The next morning I saw the same man. and he suggested I go to Advance Auto Parts just around the corner from my hotel. This was the best experience I’d had all day. The customer service rep. (Bobby) was so professional and helpful. His trainee was equally helpful. Bobby not only sold me what I needed, he showed me where it goes, how to install it and in 5 minutes replaced the burnt bulb for me. This saved me so much time and trouble! Whenever I am Virginia Tech area again, I will always shop at this Advanced Auto Parts in Christiansburg. Good people, great service!”

“I stopped by after lunch without an appointment and within 2 hours, had my state inspection done, some bulbs replaced, and all fluid levels checked. Since I bought the Kia at Motor Mile, inspection was no-charge. Logan and the other staff are always pleasant and professional (and I enjoyed a mocha espresso drink in the lounge while I waited!).”
