“I’ve been trying to get my brakes fixed (vibrations) at another service station and after 5 visits, I went to Va Tire and Auto at this service station. Jeff was very knowledgeable and told me that my 2013 Lexus didn’t need new brake pads and rotors, as it was not a safety issue, but if I’ve had wanted this vibration issue addressed, he recommended a brake system flush and brake hose replacement, along with new pads/rotors. My car drives and stops like it’s brand new. Thank you!”

“Incredibly kind, knowledgable, and helpful service. I took in a used car that I was considering buying to have a general inspection done. Immediately Paul, the mechanic, noticed several major issues with the engine and air bag systems. We ended up talking with him for nearly an hour, with him giving incredibly in depth and helpful advice about what to look for in used cars, reliable brands, and brands and systems to watch out for. I decided against buying the car I brought in, and when I went to pay Paul refused, saying that he didn't have to do anything. However, Paul's advice saved me from a likely very bad purchase. “I had some weird noise going on with my car, the guys here were so helpful and I so much appreciated the thorough notes they gave me for everything they checked as well as things for me to keep a lookout for in the future.There is a sign that says they’re understaffed, so it did seem to take longer than a more mainstream service center. And i don’t recommend planning to sit in their office while your car is being repaired.But not once did i experience any sales pressure and, again, the notes were the most thorough i’ve ever received so if you’re looking for a good, well-priced, honest mechanic, that’s what you’ll get here.”
“I can only comment on my experience with this Shell gas station, specifically regarding gas prices. I'm currently in Oakton, dogsitting, and initially attempted to fill up my tank on Chain Bridge Road. However, the price of $3.75 for unleaded gas seemed excessively high, and I'm always mindful of fuel costs these days.So, I decided to utilize my Google search skills to find the nearest gas stations, and to my delight, a few options popped up in the area, complete with posted prices for regular fuel. This is an excellent feature that helps individuals like me make informed choices and save a few cents.Upon discovering this particular Shell station, I didn't hesitate to drive approximately 1.5 miles to take advantage of their price of $3.29 per gallon, saving me a significant amount compared to the more expensive options mentioned earlier. I greatly appreciate that Shell offered a competitive price without overcharging.Since it's a self-serve station, I believe it deserves a 5-star rating for providing affordable fuel options and allowing me to make a cost-effective choice. “I have never been to Costco Gas Station when it’s not busy, it’s a matter of how long the lines are. But I usually go when the store is open, so it might be less crowded before the store opens, or after the store closed. The prices are usually cheaper than anywhere else, and you won’t have to worry about getting carjacked or getting robbed. It’s hard to getting out of there fast. It’s always clean, well maintained, and well lit.”
“Its Costco and its gas, what might be nice is if the attendant went into the line and told people to have their payment ready I cant tell you how often I see them digging around for it after being in line for 20 minutes.”

“stopped by this Shell for the fist time to see if I could walk-in and get an emissions test. It was late in the afternoon and I wasn't sure they would have time or patience for a walk-in. Immediately I was greeted with a smile and accommodation. They asked me questions and took care of the care. The technical that brought the car out also asked me questions about the car and safety inspection, etc. just to make sure I was covered. He welcomed me to come back for any additional service. They treat customers just like a dealership would, without all the hassle and appointments of a dealership.”

“So I was in need of a safety inspection before my court date. I had very limited time and there was a about half a dozen cars waiting for inspections. I explained my predicament and asked how late they were open… I told the owner that I would just come back later, he said not to worry and squeezed me in right away. Customer service and is on point. I will always be coming here for my vehicle needs.”
“Customer for life! I've gone to this service center a few times for gas and inspections and have always appreciated how clean and friendly everyone is-- but this week they earned me as a customer for life! On the way to drop my kids off at school, my air suspension went out and my car felt barely drive-able. I rolled into the shop with no appointment but worried my car was unsafe. Jim took a look at it right away and had it up on the lift within minutes. He knew right away what was going on and showed me pictures of the possible problems. I mentioned I had an extended warranty with my dealership but wasn't sure if it would be covered. Jim was able to get my car safe for the short term and encourage me to go to my dealership to have them check it out. The dealership came back with a 6k estimate and I called Jim who gave me a quote which was much cheaper but also gave me questions to ask the dealership. Because of his help, the dealership covered the work under the warranty. I don't know a lot about cars and feel it's an area I've been taken advantage of before. Jim wasn't there to make a quick buck-- but to support and find the best solution. He earned our trust and all our future business.”

“Never have I given five stars to a gas station...until now. Yes, they station is new and it's very clean and it has a wide range of snacks, drinks, and food inside. But the real reason for the five star rating is Chit Chaat Cafe inside. A North Indian mother makes homemade Indian food for affordable prices and the food is soooooo good. The station also has a chai station and Indian drinks like Thums Up soda and mango lassi.”
“I get my gas here always because I have a BJs credit card that I get 10 cents off a gallon. And if I buy items in the store that are gas off items I get more off a gallon. I do wish the space where the gas station is located was bigger. Since there is one way in some people block the first six pumps and the next six either are available or only have one car at the pump. People don't pay attention. Ugh!”

“Can’t say enough good things! We broke down on our trip from New York to North Carolina. Luckily we ended up right across the street from Stringer’s. Mike was so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with our very old car. He and his crew were able to repair our vehicle so that we were able to make the rest of the trip. It still needs work, which he explained thoroughly to us, but we are grateful that if we had to break down at all, it was there. Thanks Mike!”

“I’ve never had any auto work there, but I like to get gas there because they go all out on the holiday decorations, the place is incredibly clean (even the bathroom - cleanest gas station bathroom I’ve ever seen), and there are no advertisements blaring in your face as you pump your gas. The staff has also been helpful to me. I go out of my way to use this gas station.”
