“Place has everything, literally everything, went to shop for a coffee table, and ended up with a cart full of stuff. Staff is super friendly. There was a small scratch on the display unit we wanted because they were out of stock and the lady was so generous and offered us a discount on the table, we ended up buying a LOT more things than we needed. They also have a nice selection of Virginia (and made-in-Virginia) gifts, including local things like kitchen towels that say Fairfax on them, and a lot of cute things that are perfect for when you want to give a gift but don't want to give something really generic. Most stuff in the store is made in the USA, also a plus.”

“This is a great little store and the owner and staff are super friendly and helpful.I recently did a purge of old spices and took the bottles into the store to purchase fresh ones, for a FRACTION of what it would have cost in the grocery store. Plus you can buy what you need, since some spices you don’t go through very quickly. Their balsamic vinegar is awesome too!They also have great washable scrubbers for your dishes and great plastic saving storage items- I love the silicon caps to put on the open end of blocks of cheese. Genius! Good cleaning and other supplies as well. I always leave inspired to take extra steps to cut waste.Shout out for their onsite knife sharpening as well- reasonable prices to have your knives refreshed while you shop! It’s another vendor check the dates when they’re available.”

“I contracted with VanEck Studio to choose paint colors for my entire house. The owner came to my house during the day and then back another day in the evening to compare lighting under different conditions. She picked a palette of colors that I would never have chosen for myself, but decided that I would go with them because she is a professional. Wow! I am so amazed at the changes in my house! I'm loving every single color she has chosen. I'm attaching pictures of the guest bedroom since I just finished painted that room. “If you’re looking for a furniture store that has a carefully curated selection of high quality leather sofas, this is the perfect place.They carried well known brands that are difficult to find in store, and many of their offerings are customizable. The staff is friendly and thankfully doesn’t hover. Because I have cats and don’t know how they react to leather, I opted to have a trial period with a cheaper sofa first. However, I will be coming back to purchase once I confirm my cats leave leather alone!”

“I love Gabe's, you just have to make sure that you have time to go in & be able to look over the clothing, because Gabe's gets the clothes that have something wrong with them that the original company can't sell due to a slight issue, sometimes you can't even find what the issue is and then sometimes it's very noticeable, you just have to take your time & pay attention to the items!!”
“The woman who make's some of the hand made items in the store is pushy and money grabbing. She asked for cash only and demanded I pay in that form. It was a big turn off and I wouldn't recommend any product that's made by her.Learn how to approach people and understand this is not the way to do business. Small business especially. Unfortunately, I found this person through Belle jar and it reflects on them. I'm all for girl power but you have no finesse.”
