“While looking for a very specific wine a Safeway associate stopped what they were doing and assisted me, she was very polite and helpful, even tho the wine I was looking for wasn't there she continued to help me look for a close second and I was able to leave with a nice bottle of wine.”
“Shopping at Lidl was a reasonable experience. The store offered a good selection of groceries and household items at competitive prices, providing some value for money. The layout of the store was organized, making it relatively easy to find what I was looking for. The staff was helpful and polite, making the shopping process more pleasant. While the store's overall atmosphere was functional, it didn't have the same level of variety and ambience as some other grocery stores. The quality of the products was satisfactory, and I appreciated the range of international and specialty items available. The checkout process was efficient, and I didn't encounter any major issues during my visit. Lidl is a suitable option for everyday grocery shopping, especially for those seeking affordable options and basic necessities. While it may not offer as many premium or specialty products, it delivers on providing accessible and budget-friendly shopping for essential items.”
“Searching for interesting out of the way places on our backroads trip and happened to find this store on our way north. I went in to grab a snack and a drink and met the owner Reva. We conversated briefly about the business and history/ the interior of the store had the feel of an old time general store and you could tell it had been there operating for quite a while. Reva was very kind and generous and was an absolute pleasure to have met on our trip. I bought some snacks and drinks and he wished us well and welcomed us back in the future. Thanks and we wish you the best.”
“Good stuff cheap! Actually this place is way better than Ollies, and it’s the best deals in town, I got enough food for 60 people for about $60, that’s a great deal, and it was burgers! All burger ingredients are here!”
“Small but very nice store! A nice variety of vegetarian and vegan items. Clean, staff are friendly and helpful. I have included this market to my list of markets to shop at!”
“A Culpeper landmark although I no longer live in Culpeper I will always have fond memories of this store. When I was very young used to come here sometimes with my dad when he drove for Merchants Grocery making deliveries. I don't know if it's still owned by the same people or not but if it is they knew my dad god rest his soul he went by his nickname Sonny. May this store always be there, places like this are getting harder to find.”

“ONE OF MY FAVORITE STORES TO SHOP AT. IF YOU HAVE MARTIN'S MEMBERSHIP, YOU GET DISCOUNTS AND THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY. THEIR BATHROOM IS ALWAYS CLEAN AND KEPT WELL. I WISH WE HAVE MARTIN'S IN FAIRFAX COUNTY. AND I HOPE THAT OTHER SUPERMARKET CHAINS OR SHOPPING CENTERS LEARN FROM MARTIN'S ON HOW TO OPERATE A STORE.”
