“Love this place and the people. My husband and I go there 2 or 3 times a week. Great sandwiches, seafood, all meats, salads, desserts, fruits, vegetables. Staff has always been so nice. Best special place all around.”
“I love this store. However I was very offended the other day I came in with my bag that has the name of the store on it. So I go through the line now mind you a man in front of me had three newly bags with the store logo on it. Then a lady infront of me had a bag as well. So the cashier I normally have great conversations with she asked me did I already have my bag inside I was so mad. But I politely said yes and had a brief conversation with her. But let me be clear just because I'm black doesn't mean I can't afford the newly bags and further more it's crime in all races. I wish people that are caucasian would literally stop judging because being white doesn't make you any better than any other race. My parents raised me right. I don't judge nor do I see color. But literally alot of my people give and help without hesitation. I forgot her name however she is a middle aged caucasian woman very pretty with black hair little petite women. I hope we don't have this problem again. Aldi helps alot of people and the atmosphere is always great and the manager she is very nice. The only black lady that works there is very sweet and hard working as well. They all work but these are the two I normally see when I go shopping. Please do better in judging.”
“A lot of white people would say that it's a bad area because there's a lot of black people but you have to put color to the side the color of someone's skin is not determined the character of that person I love George's market everyone over there is extremely friendly and their prices on everything is extremely low”
“I am so happy with Old Dutch Supermarket on North Main Street, I don’t eat pork and they are the only supermarket that sells Beef Bacon and Chicken Bacon…I absolutely love their meat department,thank you for letting me know that you will continue to keep these products n stock!! :)”
“Been going here for years! Great employees and managers. Anytime I'm looking for something they don't have the manager always looks it up and does his best to see if the store can carry it. The ladies in the deli department are always helpful. The store is always clean including bathrooms. ??”
“In today’s high tech society of cell phones, computers, artificial intelligence, online stores, etc. It refreshing to stop by Old Dutch and get an old world feel of how things use to be. I have always and will always love Old Dutch. They still have the best meat department of any grocery store I have ever been to. Some of their products are priced higher than if you were to purchase the exact same products at Walmart, Amazon, or even FoodLion. I don’t know why that is but this isn’t something that keeps me from coming back.”
“I shop here daily, service is good. Seems like they struggle a little with keeping beverage coolers stocked. They should really pay more attention to stock/sales numbers to help with adaquent stock numbers to prevent running out of popular merchandise.”

“Thank you to food lion! They got my birthday cake for my sons party done in the 48 hour time frame they promised. It was delicious and looked exactly like what I asked for. Walmart was too busy to do it. So glad I went here instead. The cake tasted better and looked better than what walmart does. Shop here all the time anyway. Employees are nice. Store is clean. No issues.”
“I went in to play 3 lottery numbers and I had never filled out a paper and when I went in I said hello and the 2 ladies that were working were so sweet and the one was very helpful and patient with me. I didn't win on the number but the lady was so nice I felt as tho I won her smiles.”
“I love going here for groceries, cleaning supplies, hygiene products and more. They sell my favorite products I can't find anywhere else like Carolina pride sausage, bright leaf hotdogs and sous meat. I can find 2 adults and 3 kids for 200 dollars that also includes our shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toiletries also our laundry detergent. The kids get excited every time we go. The meat quality is better than any other store I've been to around here. The staff are extremely friendly and are very helpful. They also sell amazing deli food like roast beef sandwiches and deviled eggs great for the go.”

“Now I have to admit that in the past I wasn't a Food Lion regular customer because their prices were a higher than say Walmart and I couldn't afford it, BUT let me reevaluate my perspective. Food Lion has offered the MVP customer savings for years but they have improved this service with a new app for food Lion offering their customers a huge convenience of online shopping and savings at your fingertips on your phone. I love this app. The savings are fantastic. I've saved over a $100 in a month but wait Food Lion shows their customers their appreciation thru earn and save money back to you. Check it out. My favorite is BOGO sales . Love it. So long story short I shop Food Lion these days. Thanks Food Lion. Clean stores, great produce, deli, bakery and meat departments. Friendly and helpful employees that scan my groceries with a smile.”

“This was my first visit to this particular Dollar General in Westover, just outside of Danville, Virginia. This is an older store that is a standalone, so this one isn't super big. It's spacious, clean and well stocked with very little clutter. The folks inside were nice when I went.”

“Every month the wife and I go in there to get all of our meats everybody greets you out the door with a hello how are you doing they pushed the buggy out to the car load your groceries up for you I highly recommend going there if you're looking for a wonderful grocery store that is family-owned”
“They have smokies!! Yeah the hotdogs man I swear I'm addicted to the smokies and the other foods are just as good my wife like the burgers a great place to stop and grab lunch when in the area and I swear you won't be disappointed”

“I have been shopping at Dollar General for quite some time. The store on Piney Forest Rd had really gone down hill. There is a new Manager there now and she has really fixed the store up. She has great displays and there are no containers full of boxes. She is very friendly and always eager to help. I really enjoy shopping there now. You should be very proud of her and the store.

“Kind of a hodge-podge grocery store with lots of offerings, although sometimes difficult to find specific items. The grocery items are plentiful, and they have fresh fish swimming in tanks. We joke sometimes that they should have guides available to walk you through the aisles to let you know what everything is. All in all, a big selection and decent prices. A lot of Asians in Durham/Chapel Hill shop here. They do have smaller sections for Hispanic and South Asian foods, but it's mostly Chinese and East Asian. They also have a small bakery and in-store dining. Had a bobba tea stall one time but I don't think it's there anymore.”

I've bought it from other stores & he didn't like it, they also have a variety of other things like fresh meats, cakes, pies, fruits and vegetables and also make the best tossed salads.
