“Extremely helpful staff at the store. Helped me with understanding how to fill gas at the gas station, it was my 1st time in US, and the lady quite patiently helped me with the steps. Some times simple steps feel stressful to start, and good help is all that is required to go ahead.

The bathroom is incredibly clean and even every counter and walls are unbelievably clean .the young lady who checked us out was so friendly and helpful ! Chester's biscuits are the best ! “I started a very long drive home to Boston from Richmond va. 30 miles in on the highway my breaks locked up. I pulled off into the nearest exit and found Tim here at exxon. Thank the universe i did. He happened to know a guy who could help repair my truck and had the part. I am shocked at the courtesy and willingness to help not just me feel okay, but diagnose the problem”

“We were out of towners from New York and New Jersey stopped in to gas up and use the restroom. April who was the cashier that rung us up was very polite, sweet, and kind, we appreciated how she asked us to round up the change to support the veterans. The store was very clean and the bathrooms were spotless and i normally don’t use public restrooms but i would surely go out of my way to use yours next time i’m vacationing your location in the great state of Virginia is the ultimate best! We appreciate her hospitatality and look forward to seeing her in the future! Amar and Theresa”
“Before a snow storm I was searching our town for D batteries and ice melt . Then I discovered a nice little market that had everything I needed. The owners are so nice I plan on visiting this market more often.”

“I just wanted to share my experience. The mid to night shift workers are ALL AMAZING. Truly the most KIND, CARING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL staff the entire store has. To clarify it’s Tony, Corey, DeeDee and Carolyn. I will try my best to NOT come into the store until mid shift because the atmosphere during the morning shift is cold, snippy and RUDE. With the Exception of one woman ( don’t know her name) but she has brown/dirty blond hair always pulled up in a pony tail. She is the ONLY one that is super kind. So all of the above I listed get the five stars 100%. The owner should be proud to have such a great group of mid-night shift working for them. With that being said.
There is one worker in particular who is not only RUDE but also very judgmental and sticks her nose where it absolutely does NOT belong. I believe her name is Cathy. Not only does she criticize the products that customers buy FROM YOUR STORE. She also feels the need to put her unwanted advice upon almost every individual that comes in. My card wasn’t working one time and she insisted it was no money on my car (there was plenty) but when I checked my account and came back to try again she asked what the issue was with the card and asked why it wasn’t working. None of your business ma’am. Then I witnessed a man behind me who was Mexican and VERY CLEARLY there was a language barrier and he wasn’t quite understanding what she was saying. He was only a few cent short and she proceeded to yell very loudly for all of the store to hear YOU OWE ME .74 cents. He looked nervous and not sure what she was saying so she then screams at the man to GIVE HER ANOTHER DOLLAR multiple times.
I hope that the owner will have a discussion on professional behavior in the workplace with this individual. Quite literally she is one of the main reason myself along with many avoid stopping in, in the morning. Please give credit where innuendo the amazing staff during your mid to close shifts. They are amazing. Always working hard and cleaning the store. Deedee never sits still. That lady is consistently working, cleaning, restocking ect.”

“5/13/21 Yesterday morning my boss sent me a message about a shortage on gasoline. I later saw for myself on how crazy things have gotten on Wednesday. Luckily I have a designated place to get my fuel for my job. Quarles Gasoline Station is generally a station for businesses. Mostly company vicheles come here to fill up and ship out. When I normally fill my company vichele with gas, I am normally the only one there to receive fuel. Today was just the opposite. I had four vicheles ahead of me and three were company vicheles from what I could see. The others looked like personal vehicles trying to find a place to get gas. This place can look like a run down gas station to the uninitiated. If you don't have a certain type of card with and of the special logos ( I will have a photo of this later) and passcode, your not getting fuel by the standard methods. Even though this place looks abandoned, the eyes in the Skies are watching you. I am happy the owners added trashcans to this property, because trash was being left on the ground. I recommend adding Portable Potty unless you don't mind guys peeing or shitting in the bushes. Just a thought. When I left the property yesterday, a longer line was forming up the street. There wasn't any fighting at this fuel pump while I was here, but when fuel gets low and desperation sets in, "One never knows, Do one?"”

“Seems to be a hidden gem of a gas station in town. Small but friendly and was able to get my air checked/topped off on my tires. Mechanic on site. Prices seem fair/general and while a few cents more than say Wawa it is just as close/accessible and doesn't have the bad traffic to fight. When I stopped by this afternoon they were out of all but 87 (didn't matter to me) so i guess that is is side effect of being such a small station.”
“I love the fact that this place has public restrooms 🚻 for men and women. It is a life saving when you are coming from a long drive and have missed the rest area.”

“There was two lines that were no less than 7 people deep. I had to go in because they had something that came up on the gas pump saying go see the cashier. I waited almost 35 minutes to get to the cashier. She said how much are you putting in the vehicle? I said I don't know, I am filling it up. She said, I need a number. I said , I don't know. Filling a pickup gas tank around half full. She said if you don't give me a number, I no problem. I will go to another fuel station! I drove next store, same price same selection I needed and no lines. Thank you for being there, and making life easier. I will definitely definitely stop here rather than go next door from now on.”

“If you are looking for gas with 10% ethanol as opposed to who knows how much ethanol at places like wawa and sheets in ashland; they have it. Places like wheat and sheets and several other places are cheating people out of fuel mileage by selling fuel that has more than 10% ethanol. Older cars are not designed to run on higher than 10%.”
