“While traveling a long-distance road trip alone along 81, I wasn't sure exactly where would be an ideal stopping point to refuel. Taking an exit on a whim, I found myself visiting this rural Exxon station.With 8 fuel pumps, this small town station has easy access from the interstate. Without much else in the immediate area, I continued on my way.Returning to the drive, I discovered that only just a few exits up ahead are numerous other stations in a more populated area. Unfortunately for me, pricing in this second area was much cheaper by about 20 cents per gallon.While this small Exxon offers just what drivers are needing, the considerable price difference between this location and those just a few miles away is drastic enough to recommend to stop by elsewhere instead. However, I will note that I have only visited here once and can't give any comprehensive price comparisons.”
“One if my Favorite truck stops. Has IHOP rest. Away from the interstate so it's quieter. Lots of parking again, away from the noisy fuel island. Great big grassy field to run your dog/s.

“Fine experience. Good, highly competitive price. Bathrooms were clean, especially for a location that likely gets much use. Cashier was pleasant to my children and went out of his way to greet us and ensure our satisfaction.”
“I don't know what I would have done without the angel masquerading as the clerk at this travel center. Donna Jo not only showed me the DEF I needed but she carried the heavy jug AND she poured it into my RV! Having just turned 70 and having a frozen shoulder, I believe she was sent from heaven. Best Pilot experience ever!”
“There is a lot going on here and I only visited the front part of the Auto and RV plaza. To the rear is a huge truck park with more restaurants and more fuel and a heck of a lot more parking. At the Auto and RV plaza, the building has some of the cleanest and best maintained restrooms I've seen in Virginia. Seriously impressive and almost worth a stop just for that. There is also a Burger King and a rare Caribou Coffee. The shop has a bunch of gifts and local memorabilia for sale including tshirts, paintings, vases, local soaps, honey, perfumes and more. Really neat to see all of this stuff. The gas station is a distributor for Exxon products and it was super easy to get back onto the highway. “I visit numerous 7-Eleven convenience stores throughout Southwest and Central Virginia and I must say, the Lexington location never fails to provide top tier satisfaction for myself when it comes to the friendliness of staff and availability of what I’m shopping for!”
“It might be the biggest or open 24 hrs, but the employees are the best thing about this small location, lines short, convenience features slowly upgrading, bath rooms I'd say are a 3(I've never ran out of tp?) and the manger is trying stuff to mix it up so yeah I think it's work a stop for your gas especially compared to the other offerings in bv (only two are remotely comparable) and even then, one claims the cheapest gas on average and others are old and outdated or just stuck in there ways. These guys not so plus they have those skill games people like.”

“I had a coolant leak go getting off the highway. I went over to the shop in Lexington and they didn't have a mechanic on but had an apprentice. The girl at the counter explained if it was something they could do they would get me right in. Dylan was the apprentice and was able to fix it. I was in and out in less than an hour. Both of them were very good at their jobs. If I had to recommend a TA it would be here. Dylan will definitely make some money in this buisness. He has a great attitude. Both deserve a raise. They saved my day.”
