“This is a unique little store that sells mostly liquidation and overstock grocery items. It is run by a charming Christian family, including helpful, well behaved youngsters. Most items are bargain priced and not far out of date, if at all.”

I just wanted to make sure you are aware that you have the best employee in this person. I didn't get his name, but he was always wanting to see how he could help you. He took the things out of the plants to go inside to get a price for me when I came out he saw I had my cart.I was walking back to put it back up.He came to meet me to get it great-great employee.It's hard to find good employees and most of them Don't Want To do anything.So I just wanted you to be aware that he is a very very great hire for you. “Great neighborhood grocery store. Very clean, stocked, and not too crowded which I love! Cashiers there are always friendly and get you rung up quickly. They also offer Food Lion ToGo which I use often, and they always do a great job!”

“I was on vacation visiting Hillsville and this Food Lion has an incredible selection of food. From gluten free and organic to everything in between. I was pleasantly surprised. Great place.”
“This is an okay/above average store. It's relatively small so it is tightly packed, and I mean TIGHTLY packed inside. However, it is rather clean and organized with just some clutter here and there. It's well stocked, and the staff are friendly!

“I'm country but studied in a professional rank, showed up in jeans-kiltie shoes & a white dress shirt...bought a load of tomatoes to bring home to make salsa stock baggies for the freezer.. Cost, $14.99.He slides ne back change.. a penny & a $10. Spot.. without thinking I say no- handing it back for tge right bill- a $5...Didn't think much about it initially but- he's a sharp fellow..He was sizing me up-I appreciate hus style..God Bless the Country Folks...??”
