βThis is a pretty good store. It is clean, and quite spacious. There's fairly little clutter anywhere in the store, and it is well stocked. This place is generally well staffed and well cared for. The staff I have interacted with were okay.
It is a decently above average store. Recommendedβ
βThey have everything. I was able to pick up some canning essentials at a great price. I will have to go back for some plants. They had a wide variety of vegetables and flowers.β

βMy impression of this store is pretty positive. Typical Food Lion layout and MVP card deals. The store looked nice inside with the exception of some empty shelves. (We're just getting over a winter storm so I won't hold the empty shelves against them.) People there were feiendly to me.β
βVery friendly and helpful staff. Always willing to help you out if you need it. The store is clean and they seem to not randomly shuffle stuff around. The staff seems to care about their customers. Nary an unpleasant shopping experience.β
βGreat place with decent food. They have a broad selection of vapes available at a really good price. They even send out coupon flyers from time to time with great deals on them. Deals like 2 vapes for $25. That's hard to beat, no matter what kind of vapes you're buying. Also sells kerosene and ice. Great fish plate!!β

βWe had a great experience at The Food Lion in Stanley Town! The convenience of being just a short distance from our Airbnb made our stay even more enjoyable. They had everything we needed, from groceries to quick snacks.
The employees were exceptionally polite and helpful, ready to assist with our questions. It felt like a friendly neighborhood store, making it easy to grab essentials without any hassle.
Overall, I highly recommend this Food Lion for anyone staying in the area. It truly enhanced our visit!β

I'd shop here first, if you're shopping for groceries. Just make sure to get a cart and bring (or buy) some re-useable bags.β
βNice old country style store. Gas pumps could use an update. I went in to get some biscuits for breakfast. Only one person running the store. The lady rang me up and fix the biscuits in no time. The food was really good.β

βBeen here on several occasion and the only complaint is getting in and out of the parking lot can be a little tricky. Other than that the store and pumps were well kept. The employees were very friendly and helpful.β

βIf you have ever shopped at a Dollar General then you know what to expect here. The prices are good and they try to have a little bit of everything. These stores are ideal for shopping when you don't feel like going to the bigger chain stores. They do have some clutter in the isles. This location is on 220 between Rocky Mount and Collinsville. Service was friendly and they had what I was looking for.β

βThis Dollar General in West Bassett (Philpott Area) has relatively recently been renovated inside and has a new layout from my last visit. It's clean, it's neat and tidy, and the staff here are typically very nice. I definitely love the new layout as it seems like there is more space here now.
It's a great store, I do recommend it!β
βI have had many, many visits to this DG Market. It's the largest DG you'll find that sells produce, some bakery items, more clothing and much more. This particular DG Market is great. It is very simply laid out, wide and spacious, and has plenty of well-stocked items to browse and buy. It's extremely clean and well staffed, with very friendly staff who are willing to help you out regularly.
This is a phenomenal store and I wish there were more like it nearby. Highly recommended!β
βTypical Dollar General. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Easily accessible with plenty of parking. Everything you need from toiletries, shirts, crossword puzzles, balloons or just a drink and a candy bar. Public bathroom, just ask for the key. Tight isles from all the stock. Staff may be busy and not at the check out, just grunt out or cough loudly and someone will come help.β

βBlack Owned business, family owned business...one of the few left in Martinsville. Cold drinks, snacks, cigarettes, ATM. Other household items Bread, canned goods, 2 liter drinks, as well as cleaning supplies. Quick service, friendly, and always helpful.β

βA small store, mostly cash only but they do take cards for a nominal fee just to cover what the card companies charge them. They have at least one of al.ost everything, from food, to regular convenience store items, to health items, to automotive goods. Very fair prices co.pared to other convenience stores, especially some of the chain ones. This one is a People's but is independently owned. Very friendly owners and service, although English is their second language.β
