βEach time I go for gas or a snack I feel very comfortable and so in my element as a veteran. The employees are awfully nice and very engaging and it is just so nice to be amongst my own kind (other soldiers) and to see the respect the employees show our soldiers is heartwarming.β
βWe just recently moved from Delaware to Virginia, and on our way back Delaware for an important meeting, I had a flat tire. Luckily, I saw this Shell Gas Station with repair services. I spoke to the guy at the counter and asked if they can fix my flat asap because I have to drive back to Delaware for an important meeting. At first he said 45 mins but will see if thereβs anything he can do. Went back to my vehicle and 2 mins after, a mechanic walked towards me and fixed my tire. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry that I wasnβt able to get the name of the guy, but hey, you got another customer because we moved 2 mins away from the shop. Thank you for being considerate.β

βI have been to D.C. a few times and done much of the typical touristy things. This trip with the government t shut down I took the chance to explore places I haven't been. I took a car from the hotel out to the harbor after breakfast and did some shopping, rode the ferris wheel, and enjoyed the sites of the harbor.
Lots to see and do. Would recommend for an afternoon trip, have lunch, or stay for dinner.β

βI stopped in on thursday on my way home from pennsylvania, going to north carolina. Next thing, my tire pressure was down. I was in a panic and pulled in to this station. Turns out, I ran over a big piece of metal. The two gentlemen, we're so nice and efficient.I don't even know what to say!!!!! I had my three teenage girls with me, and we had three hours left to go home. They showed me what was wrong with the tire. He talked to my husband on the phone, and they had me in and out and fifteen minutes and back on the road. Although it was 57 dollars for a patch it was still worth it to me. And it got me home and still holding, losing no tire pressure. These guys could not have been any more nicer. And I had to force them to take a four dollar tip, because it's all the cash I had on me.β

βJust want to thank KC Automotive for helping me last week. I had been to another gas station but the air pump malfunctioned. I went to KC Automotive looking for an air pump. I didn't see a public air pump but the mechanic asked me if I needed air in my tires. I said yes and he told me to pull up to the garage bay and he checked all of my tires for me and put air in them. I was grateful and will keep KC in mind when I need automotive service.β
βAlways helpful and go above and beyond to satisfy needs. It took a bit to get the booking because they really wanted me to talk to Service (which is a good thing) but once that was done it was smooth sailing. DONT KNOW WHY MY PREVIOUS POST MADE ONLY 1 STAR!!β
βThere are several rows of gas pumps. And the rows each have three pumps in each row. Because the rows are three vehicles deep, it can be challenging to see when the gas pump a few cars ahead are available. The service attendant flagged me to move ahead to a vacant gas pump. This was helpful and appreciated.β
βConsistently lowest fuel prices in Old Town Alexandria. They also do Virginia state safety and emissions inspections. Only downsides: Parking lot is a little tight, and the tap to pay function doesn't work on all pumps.β

βOur motoring family had our cars serviced with Rolling Rd. Sunoco for more than 15 years. Their automotive maintenace service have always been consistently efficient, prompt, honest & family oriented. Quite frankly I myself have not been back for perhaps over 2 yrs, because my car is new & I still avail of its factory/ dealer periodic service. But recently one of its tire sustained an irreparable puncture & needed replacement. I brought the car to 2 tire centers & both explained that the puncture site being conspicuous on the side wall of the tire, & therefore unrepairable. I didnβt mind having the tire replaced, but both centers were insistent on replacing the
damaged tire with a different brand (& not matching the original Toyo tires). So, I brought the car to Rolling Rd. Sunoco where I was promptly given a reasonable quote of a new matching Toyo tire, to be delivered the following day. I brought the car back that day and the tire was installed within an hour.

βThis place is unbelievable, how come I never known you guys all this time ! I was recommended by my neighbor and went for safety and emission and I was briefed professionally, they even took me to show my problems and advised the issue, the inspector is professional and well organized, place is also clean ! If you want your vehicle be inspected so you will be safe on the road ? Not asking for βstickerβ ? Well i advise you go here ! If you want sticker then this place is not yours ! They are simply as honest as any one could be ! Will see you soon back thank you.β
βI've worked with them for years and generally trusted them. But I recently paid thousands for a suspension and power steering repair only to run into more problems afterwards. They were willing to verify the repairs but basically said I was SOL.
Further, they wanted to charge me $80 for a cabin air filter replacement which is just insulting. Filters are cheap and take 2 minutes to install.β

βBeing a member of Costco, I always forget about the discounted gas station that comes with the membership. I think that the locations are kind of far and that I use them when Iβm close to one. I was in the area of Potomac Mills Mall, and I was like thereβs a Costco gas station there. I made a beeline for it. The area is always clean, and the pumps are always serviceable. After waiting my turn in line, I went to the gas pump. The best way to get your membership authorization QR Code is by using the Costco app. It made getting gas SO much easier, faster and without bother the gas station attendant. The gas prices were approximately $0.30-0.25 cheaper than the gas stations around my house. I was SO glad that I could use my gas station benefits, and will continue to be a member of Costco. Total rating this experience 10/10, thanks.β

I canβt say enough good things about this mechanic shop. They did a magnificent job on my car, and Iβm beyond impressed with their professionalism, skill, and honesty. From the moment I walked in, they treated me with respect and took the time to explain everything clearly.
The work they did was top-notch β my car runs better than ever! They didnβt cut corners, and you can tell they take real pride in what they do. The pricing was fair, and there were no surprise fees. βI have come here a few times before for routine maintenance at the recommendation of a friend. I work in Annandale and live in Manassas so I wanted to find a reliable shop closer to work. They have always been efficient and honest. And the cost for their services is incredibly reasonable. This evening, I left work and not even a mile down the road, my tire went completely flat. Fortunately, this shop was not far from where I was. I arrived around 5:30 and their service hours end at 5, but they were amazingly kind and took a look at the tire and found a HUGE nail in there. They got it patched up and I was back on the road within about 30 min. Thank you to the staff here for going above and beyond to help me during a stressful moment. I appreciate it so so much!β

The hours listed in Google are for the service station, but the actual gas station is open much earlier and later. They do Virginia safety inspections.β

βme and my mom will come here for what i call 'fort belvoir fridays' it is always such a good time i get excited seeing the base (the military was tough at times but i always made it through and i definitely think it improved my life one quote that has stuck with me so much is colin powell 'No matter how hungry you all are, lieutenant, you must never appear hungry. No matter how terrified you are, lieutenant, you must never look terrified. Because if you are scared, tried, hungry and coldβ¦. they will be scared, tired, hungry and cold." i really feel for people on that one when i was in the signal corps doing morning formations) and i have a deep appreciation for the military as well to think of soldiers standing up for the country values or the fun side too being overseas living in germany or hearing of people getting korea as their duty station i have somewhat of a understanding for the lifestyle (i sympathize when i see people who look like they are hanging on to their job and where they live or think it's cool when i see the longterm personnel who adapt to that way of living pt the unit many years of commitment and even 'indoctrination' where too mil and affiliates can solve all my problems) um one thing that'll be real cool here is when we look around we'll also see other guests and i'll be reminded of like being in tradoc and getting your civilians or nco's and being stationed somewhere else it was georgia & germany mostly for me ft meade too the cashiers here have been phenomenal with their professionalism and demeanor a guy like a statue i'll definitely daydream about stuff like the hot gas station food or when i was in the barracks so this will be a pitstop i had mused about meeting people (i am pretty anchored here and thought i could be useful but then again i am a veteran and out) but heard warnings about that or also not wanting complaints for exampleβ
