βThey have everything you might need. The checkout is super easy, and there are so many workers there to help you when you need it. Starbucks is in the front of the store. You can buy your drink and take it with you while you're shopping. They also sell some local swag like T-shirts and car flags. Have fun shopping!!β

βI absolutely love this Food Lion! Location is key to where I live. The way the store is laid out, makes my shopping fast and Ilnever get stuck in a line. It's rare if so! The food is also alternated for sure, because I check! ?β
βAuthentic Filipino cuisine with traditional welcoming hospitality in the heart of Hopewell. The only Filipino market/restaurant in the immediate Tricities area. They also have a food truck- SSG Pinoy Kitchen. Canβt wait for their expansion in the building next door to their current location. Great food, nice people. The owner Emily is very hospitable. You canβt go wrong. Donβt miss out.β
βOutstanding customer service. My son told me about Aldi's produce is fresh and stays good when you bring it home. Tried your beef last week and went back today for more. We usually shop at a meat market for our meats. So to impress us with your meat is a big deal. Thank youβ
βI love their grape ? selection, Natureβs Promise branded items have won my man over, especially the meats and chicken. FL is EVERYWHERE, so we go there often. Also, I was told you can take avocados back, if theyβre bad!?? β
βStore had what I went for. Busy time of evening but lines moved quickly. It was the evening before July 4th. The cashier was very pleasant. Even smiled, loaded my cart, which is not always the case and did a very good job all the way around.β

βThe cashier was friendly and their fried pork chops and fried chicken and subs smelled so good I was tempted to get something but I don't want to cheat on my diet.β
βI work here so I may be biased but I love this location. My coworkers are awesome and almost always have a smile to go with their great customer service. Management is fair and friendly. Plus we have great deals in meat department.. DAILY as well as a well stocked produce dept. My only complaint is that they have discontinued my favorite milk and nothing else compares to Nature's Promise Organic grass fed whole milk. Please bring it back!β
βGreat service and selection. Closest store to me besides Walmart and sometimes fighting Walmart traffic( parking lot and in-store ) is just not in the cards. Over priced, convenient. Good selection of ready made sushi., decent produce section, and sufficient international food section.β
βI went there with my daughter, to get some meats, because she likes buying meats there. They have pretty good prices on most of their meats. She stays away from the ones that are frozen, and she doesn't buy other items from there because they are priced too high!β
βThe staff in here is always super friendly. They had a car crash into the front of the building not too long ago, and it wasn't too bad. They cleaned up and made it safe for all the customers, and it got fixed super quick.They always have the "off the wall" items you wouldn't find at normal chain convenient stores, which is nice. They serve food here too, and the prices are pretty fair, the food is pretty good. Glad to have this local to me.β
βThis food lion is the best. There are no self check outs but that is what makes it great. It seems like because there isn't any self check outs people seem to avoid this place. But that keeps it stocked. If I ever need something near a holiday I go here because this store stays stocked up.β
βStaff is friendly and they always have my medicine in stock. But not having a drive through is ok but a little inconvenient mostly to elderly people or disabled people. Overall it's great.β
βIsaiah is always sweet and helpful. I watched as he helped a new employee. He showed her what to say and offered to come help when he was finished. He a very kind person, matter how busy they are. He is a treasure to our community.β
βSimilar to other Dollar Generals there are usually things in the aisles, and the aisles are not super wide. However friendly employees and I can usually locate what I went in to get.β
βI am at this Food Lion OFTEN for pick up orders - for work and for home. The shoppers/runners for pick-up orders have been great. Friendly, quick with a couple of exceptions, and they get me on my way in a reasonable amount of time.
If there is an issue at pick-up and I have to call or go IN the store, that is another matter. The phone/internet system in the store apparently has been messed up for years and continues to be so.
Calls to the store about your pick-up when you've been waiting an extended amount of time go unanswered, the extension for the pick-up says it's not in service and try again.
Customer service will claim you either didn't call because the phone didn't ring or blame it on the phones not working. Internet prevents you from communicating directly with the pick-up people. If you know your store has issues, please fix it. *NOTE: I have not interacted with ALL customer service at this store, only two, and I had the same experience with both, so my review is specifically in regards to those interactions and does not reflect on anyone else that may work there in that capacity.
Otherwise, selection is good, cashiers, pick-up people, even delivery orders, I'd give good marks!β
βVery friendly community store! Great meat prices and the young ladies who work there have the best personalities and great to talk to. You can play the Virginia Lottery and get most of your grocery needs. I recommend this store it has been open for a few decades in Petersburg. Support your community stores!β
βI had a taste for some old country cooking so my daughter and I picked up lunch from the Produce Center Deli we were very satisfied, the food was delicious and seasoned just right ????β
βI go out of my way to go to this dollar general because it is the cleanest and friendliest dollar general i have been to and i have been to many. only thing i would have bad to say is when they are stocking there is a mess they need to do a bit at a time i understand the cashier is also the stocker but one cart out at a time please makes it hard to get through the isle.β
βToday I have had the pleasure of being greeted by two wonderful employees name MissTony & Miss Don at the 3105 Dollar General Store on S. Crater where I lived near by these two Is hard working ladys was the most helpful respectful workers that I seen in a long time, they show so much love & kindness to everyone that's cames though dollar doors and as a customer I was very impressed by their attitude & customers service. SO as being a customers and such we can all come relate to work treating I poor with the wrong attitude especially when coming in the door's of a store when askinga question about things . So when you are treated when kindness generosity we all need to recognize that as well amen. These is why I'm writing this review. All because of these two beautiful ladys name Miss Don & Miss Tony who greeted everyone with such a pleasantries attitudes, that I was like wow this a first an different, so then I stop and saw listening in how others was being greet as well they came through those same doors. which lead me to writing this review Miss Don was stocking the shelves and greeting and assisting customers as she worked and Miss Tony was on the register cashiering greeting customers in a pleasure & respectful ways they came & wanted thoughthe doors. So we all was very impressed by this I come often to this store but this my first writing a review on this store. ALL because of thses two beautiful ladys and their worke ethics and attitude toward all customers that came and wanted. So I wanted to personal & pupils to say thanks ? and to whom ever hire these two beautiful hard working ladys they're doing excellent job for y'all business and they got the right attitude toward all customers ok. So I pray this review reach the right people's Owner Supervisor or Management tream. These Ladys need to be rewarded with some type of rewarded iam sure bonus, rises would be nice they both has made a different in this Store. So Thanks ? βI love Pomegranate and thatβs what brings me here in the most part. Every season for Pomegranate, Food Lion has the best to offer so, i buy in abundance. It's affordable good customer services and Fresh produceβ
βIf you're looking for a quick shop this would be it!!! The only thing that bothers me is how it smells in there I guess it's because they prepare and cut their meat there, but other than that it's a great place to get stuff you need in a hurryβ
βThis is a very small store in comparison to other Dollar General stores, however, they do keep the shelves stocked and with many things you cannot find anywhere else! The prices on alot of things are much cheaper than other stores too. The employees always greet me and are helpful should I need it. The reason for the four stars is because the store, always, appears to be cluttered and this is due to the size along with an abundance of stuff!β

βExxon is a great truck stop located in dinwiddie Virginia. It is located off of the interstate. They have great prices on gas and cigarettes. You can buy beer here. You can buy snacks and chips. They also sell lottery tickets. There is a KFC inside of Exxon. They have excellent food. I highly recommend Exxon.β
βMy go to stop love the workers in there they're always so nice and friendly! The only flaws sometimes the prices don't ring up as what they were on the shelfs! Not to worry the workers are always happy to fix it if it happens! But it can still snipe you sometimes if you're Unawareβ
βThe only thing I found was the bloomin onion was not fried long enough but it was still great. The food an drinks were fantastic along with the waitress. Will be going back.β

Great selections - best Deli and produce. Love the black grapes! Great meat selections and frozen foods. Love the green and red peppers. Try the deviled egg potato salad. Yum, Yum! WondΓ¨rful meat selections; london broil roast and delicious pork chops. Prices are the best at the Commissary when you do a comparison price check with other local stores. The Commissary is my grocery store where I shop each week.β
